Sometimes it takes a massive wake up call - like nearly losing your vision - to help you make a change.

Today's guest had been living in a state of anger and begrudgingly doing things for everyone else while not attending to her own needs for years, when she was shocked back to reality.

Who was she and what value did she bring if she lost her vision?

This question led her down a path of healing, learning to see and appreciate herself just as she is, and in finding joy on her terms.

Philippa studied law at university and she spent most of her career exploring the UK, subconsciously seeking "home". She settled in the beautiful city of Bristol where she now lives with her husband, two teenage sons and Bob the dog.

During her own personal transformation, through healing childhood trauma and learning to love and live for herself, she arrived at her soul mission to guide people to be the truest versions of themselves because she believes that is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.

Robert Goodland is a retired firefighter-paramedic and the founder of The Heart Of A Horse LLC. He is a certified Equine Gestalt Coach practitioner living in rural Wisconsin in the United States.

Together with his equine partners, he uses his decades of work as a first responder, combined with his own personal traumas to help people along their own healing journeys. Robert is a childhood sexual assault survivor and was diagnosed with PTSD following a work-related near drowning.

Before becoming a coach, his love of horses led him to become a horsemanship instructor, assisting people to form deeper, more meaningful relationships with their own equine partners.
