  • Day 20 of 30: Creating a Life of Self-Love

SAM I'm here day 20 of 30 of creating a life of self love. And I'm so glad you're here, whether it's your first day coming across safe art connections, or you've been with us for a long time. I'm so glad you're here. Say part connections is an online community group for women that are working on learning to love themselves more fully.

And by default, their life improves because we've learned to love ourselves and we get to make connections along the way in the community. Each day for 30 days, I'm going through a daily affirmation, a self love task and a journal problems. If you just found us online and you're curious, we'd love to have you check out our online community and learn more about how you can get connected to creating a life of self love.

If this is your first time seeing us and you want to go back and watch the other videos, they should be on the platform that you're watching this one on so you can go back and get caught up or just continue on with where you're at now. I do believe the more of these you do, the higher likelihood you'll have of creating a life of self love.

So let's go ahead and dig in. Our affirmation for today is I'm a radiant and powerful being capable of creating the life of my dreams. Wow. Before I started my healing journey. I did not believe I was radiant or powerful, capable, and what was this life of my dreams? Yeah, that wasn't happening. So to be able to get to a place where you've created a life of self love and say, I'm a radiant powerful being capable of creating the life of my dreams and meaning it. Yeah, that's a pretty cool place to be. If I can get there, I know you can too. So our self love daily task, it says create a vision board or a collage representing your dreams and aspirations. It doesn't have to be a big board, maybe just a couple of pictures.

Maybe use, If you're online and you use Canva or something, just get a couple of images, put it on one thing and put something together that actually represents that dream life that you're, that you want to build. And you don't have to spend a lot of time on it, but make it real. Take a few minutes and do this because I believe that when you do that, magical things can happen.

I'll tell you just a quick story. Years ago, I did a dream board and I put on my dream board a cruise ship going to Alaska, and I had always wanted to do that, but we were not in a place where I had the money to financially do that. And I still put it on my dream board and within a probably 8 months of that, not only were we on a cruise to Alaska, but we were actually on the same ship.

That I put on my dream board. When you put your intention and your focus on something, there's power in that.

For your self learned journal problems. Take some time to reflect on what your dream life is, what that dream board looks like, and do you have anything, any new insights on what you want to create, what you aspire to do, your dreams for the future? Because now that you have more of that in your mind, you can take some time to set some goals around that.

Write it down. have this journal prompt continue. It doesn't have to stop here. I'm so glad you're here for day 20 and I look forward to seeing you on day 21.

  • Day 19 of 30: Creating a Life of Self-Love

Hey, Sam here for day 19 of 30 of creating a life of self love. And I am so glad you're here today. Safe Heart Connections is an online community group for women that are working on learning to love ourselves more fully. And by default, our life gets better because we love ourselves and we get to make connections along the way in the community, which is a beautiful thing.

Each day for 30 days, I'm going through and doing an affirmation, a daily task and a journal prompt, posting it on social medias and in the community. And for those of you that are in the community and you're watching this and you're hearing me say what Safe Heart Connections is. Yeah, I know, you already know, and this is just the best way for me to do this so that I can create the video once and use it on social media to help everybody else in my social world learn what safe heart connections is.

I'm so glad you're here, whether you're in the community, whether you're watching on social media learning to create a life of self love is probably one of the best things you can do because without having that, I Not much else is going to work very well in your life. At least that's what I believe.

So here's our affirmation for today. I I celebrate my achievements, both big and small and acknowledge my worthiness of success. I think that a lot of times as women, we focus on celebrating everybody else. And when we do something really great, oh, it's not that big a deal. It's not that big a deal. And it's just what I do.

Being able to celebrate your achievements, whether they're big or small, and just acknowledge that you are worthy of success. Even if you don't have something to celebrate right now, maybe you're looking back and you're like, okay, I don't have a lot to celebrate. First of all, I would challenge that you probably do.

Learning to focus on the good things in life will help you learn to see more good. And so that will probably help with that.

Your self love daily task is to reflect on a challenging situation from the past and identify lessons learned.

Some people talk about a challenge and they're like, either you won or you learned. You won, you did great, or you learned something. And so even if it's a challenging situation, there is something to be learned from it. I don't know that I actually believe that there's always a silver lining.

There are some things in life that I've experienced that I'm like, I don't know that I can find a silver lining and. I still learned from it. Maybe that's the silver lining, just thought of that. Take a moment to reflect on a situation that maybe was challenging and what you learned from it, and then dig in on the journal prompt, just write down something that you learned from that experience.

And then did you actually show self compassion? What kind of resilience did you have? What kind of self compassion did you have for yourself? What kind of compassion did you have for other people? And just take the time to write down a couple of things that you learned about it. Because I truly believe when you write things down, as my mama says, when you write it down, you make it real.

And so if you're writing down what you learned. about an experience. It could turn something from a challenging situation to a learning experience instead. So I'm so glad you're here and I'll see you on day 20. Have a great day.

  • Day 18 of 30: Creating a Life of Self-Love

Hi, everybody. Sam here to 18 of 30. We are just on the other side of halfway. So glad you're here again. If you've been on this journey with us, or if this is your first time coming across our information, so glad you found us.

Safe Heart Connections is an online community group of women. That are working on learning to love ourselves more fully. And by default, our life improves and we get to make connections along the way in the community. So I'm so glad you're here for day 18. And so our affirmation for today is

I attract positive and loving relationships into my life that reflect my own self worth. When we're talking about self love, there's several different selves that come together to create self love and self worth is one of those. So self worth is different than self love, but you need self worth to have self love.

    That make sense?

Being able to attract positive and loving people into your life, that definitely is a reflection of what you believe you're worth. So that's a wonderful affirmation for today. And our self love task is perform an act of kindness for someone else. Nurturing your sense of compassion.

A lot of times people think that self love means you're being selfish or you don't think about anybody else, but , that's not the case. When you love yourself and you're able to keep your cup full, then you have the ability to help and give in ways you might not be able to otherwise. And so if your cup is full, Today, I would say do something perform an act of kindness for someone else.

If your cup is still not full and you're still needing to work on filling your own cup, I would say do an act of kindness for you. Get it to where your cup is full. When your cup is full and you're able to pour out of the overflow of your full cup, that's when beautiful things happen. All right. For your self love journal prompts, I want you to just write about that.

What did that feel like? How did you help? Did you help someone else? Did you show yourself kindness ? And what did that look like? And how did that feel? Taking the time to document this and actually write down these things so you can go back and look at them later, it really is part of the healing process.

So I encourage you, as I'm telling you about these journal prompts, for you to actually take a moment to write them down. Hope you're having a great day, and I will look forward to seeing you on Day 19.

  • Day 17 of 30: Creating a Life of Self-Love

I'm here with day 17 of 30 of creating a life of self love. I'm so glad you're here. SafeHeart Connections is an online community group of women that are working on learning to love ourselves more fully. And by default, our life gets better and we get to make connections in our online community group.

So I'm so glad you're here. If this is your first time getting connected to us, welcome. If you've been around for a while, I'm so glad you're still on this journey with us. I'm so happy. Cause truly I believe that the more we do this. The more we make it part of our life, then the better chances we have of creating a life of self love.

So this is one of my favorite affirmations. And I'm gonna just take a moment to breathe. And just, I'm reading it on the screen right now, and I'm taking it in. And I hope you are too. But then when you actually say it, when you say it, I want you to just to pause. Maybe close your eyes now as you're listening, as long as you're not driving.

Close your eyes now as I say what I'm about to say, and just let it sink into your heart, into your soul, and just to receive it. A lot of times on these I go through them kind of fast, and it's because I'm trying to make them quick, just where you get the information, to where you can understand what to do.

And sometimes It really is better just to slow down. Close your eyes if you're comfortable with that and receive what I'm saying to you. I am enough, exactly as I am, and I'm worthy of all the blessings life has to offer. Do you believe it? I'm enough, exactly as I am, and I'm worthy of all the blessings life has to offer.

When you can get to that point, you'll be unstoppable truly. And so your self love daily task today is try a new hobby or activity, something that allows you to be creative or just gives you joy. A lot of times we're just going through the motion so much that we have to check all the boxes, get all the things done and take care of even in self love and taking care of ourselves.

There's things that we're doing that we know we're doing. And it's building us up. And it still doesn't feel joyful, it feels awkward or different or new, because it is. But take a step back for just a moment and try and do something that you truly do just because you enjoy it. Not because you think it's going to make your life better.

Just because you enjoy it. Try that and I would love to hear back how that goes for you. And your journal prompt is tied to that. What did you do? What did you do? How did it make you feel? What did you experience? Did you do something that surprised you when you thought of something that would bring you joy or something to do just because you truly enjoyed it?

Did you think of something that you did not think you would think of? Journal about that and I would love for you to share. So I want to circle back just to the top again, just because that affirmation is so powerful, I am enough exactly as I am and I am worthy of all the blessings life has to offer. I'm praying that you receive that today and that you can start to create a life based on that.

So I'm glad you're here and I'm looking forward to day.

  • Day 16 of 30: Creating a Life of Self-Love

Hi, everybody. Day 16 of 30 of creating a life of self love. I'm so glad you're here. If you have been here along the journey the whole time, I'm so glad you're back and you're continuing. If you are new and this is the first video you've seen, we're really glad you're here. You can go back on the platform and watch all the others.

I truly believe that the more of these you do, the better chance you'll have at creating a life of self love. It's, it is hard sometimes to start something new, but I can tell you, It's totally worth it, especially when it comes to loving yourself, because until you do that, well, I truly believe you're not going to be able to have the life that you probably could.

Safe Heart Connections is an online community group of women that are working on loving ourselves more fully. By default, our life improves and we get to make connections in the community. So it's a wonderful thing if you're not already in the community.

So if you're interested in that, you can check it out because it could be exactly what you need to jumpstart that self love lifestyle. So our self love daily affirmation. I let go of negative self talk and replace it with words of love, encouragement and empowerment. Yes. Yes, to all. Being able to just let go of negative self talk and replace it with something else is huge.

One of the things I talk about is when you start to recognize the negative self talk, you hear it, and you go, Nope, not for me. Replace it with the truth. Nope, not for me. Replace it with the truth. And being able to identify it and let it go and replace it, that is a big step towards creating a life of self love.

Now, then self love daily task is setting boundary with someone or something that drains your energy or causes you stress. I like to tease and say that boundaries is the B word. And it is for so many of us. What I recognize is that for a lot of us, we don't set bound, we don't hold to our boundaries because we haven't set boundaries.

We don't know what's important to us. We don't understand that when we say yes to something we're saying no to something else. And to have the balance, to have the life that we were meant to have, we have to take care of ourselves first, so that then we can help others as we feel led to. But if you don't have boundaries in place, that's not ever going to be possible.

So the journal prompt is to reflect on that. How did it impact your energy levels? Did you feel better? Were you able to say no or hold to that boundary and not feel guilty? If you still felt guilty, that's, you don't want to feel guilty, and It's probably normal that you did so you can address it and you can note it in your head.

Okay. Yeah, I felt guilty about that. And I really want to get past that. So I'm going to next time. I'm going to do it and continue to address what you're feeling. Don't ignore it. Understand that it's a process that takes time. It doesn't happen all at once. And so eventually the goal would be able to get to a place of holding a boundary and not feeling guilty for it.

And that's a beautiful place. And it is totally possible. Totally possible. So I'm so glad you're here. Looking forward to sharing Day 17 with you. So come on back tomorrow. Have a great day.

  • Day 15 of 30: Creating a Life of Self-Love

Hi everybody, Sam here. Day 15 of 30 of creating a life of self love and I'm so glad you're back again for day 15 or maybe you're just coming across us for the first time and wanted to welcome you here. Safe Heart Connections is an online community group for women that are working on learning to love themselves more fully and by default.

Our lives improve and we get to make connections in the community. So I'm so glad you're here. I wanted to say let's start with our self love daily affirmation. I forgive myself for past mistakes and embrace every experience as an opportunity for growth. I forgive myself for past mistakes and embrace every experience as an opportunity for growth.

I was just talking with a woman that we're doing a micro interview with, and she was talking about self forgiveness. And if you've been, if you've been in the community for a while, you may have seen the self love mini series already. If not, and you're in the community, you have free access to that. So make sure you take the opportunity to check that out.

Being able to forgive ourselves is a really important part of self love because we did the best we could with what we had in that moment. It's a choice. You get to forgive yourself if you want to. Our self love daily task for today is pamper yourself with a relaxing bath or skincare routine and Maybe you don't have a bathtub Maybe you aren't able to do that, but you can do some type of skincare routine You could just get some simple lotion put some lotion on your body Take a dry brush if you have a dry brush if you're not familiar with what those are They're really great for your skin.

It's great for self soothing. Maybe do something just with your hair. Maybe even just brush your hair. Maybe you don't have the ability to do a skin care routine or something, but just brush your hair. do something for yourself today. And then your journal prompt is Basically, write about how that was.

What was that like for you? What are some other types of things can you incorporate into your world as you move forward to create a life of self love? I would say that little tiny things can really add up. Making sure that you're not just going through the motions. That you're actually taking the time to feed yourself well, to exercise, to get enough sleep.

All these things are a part of self love. And doing those as a base is really wonderful. But being able to pamper yourself just a little bit really can remind yourself that you are worthy of love just because you are, not because you do. Hope you have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow.

  • Day 14 of 30 Creating a Life of Self-Love

Welcome to day 14 of our 30-day journey toward self-love, and I couldn't be more thrilled to embark on this process with you today. As always, I'll be sharing an affirmation, a self-love task, and a journal prompt to guide us along the way. My name is Sam, and I'm the community host and founder of Safe Heart Connections, where women come together to explore the profound journey of self-love, leading to transformative changes in our lives.

Today's affirmation is truly empowering: "I am proud of the person I'm becoming and the progress I've made on the journey." This affirmation resonates deeply with me, as it underscores the importance of celebrating our growth and acknowledging the strides we've taken on our path to self-love. Remember, it's not about attaining perfection, but embracing our progress with pride and gratitude.

Now, onto our self-love daily task: Spend some time connecting with nature. Step outside, feel the grass beneath your feet, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the natural world. Take a moment to observe the trees, the birds, and the gentle rustle of leaves in the wind. Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment of tranquility and connection with nature.

Afterward, reflect on your experience in your journal. Did you notice any shifts in your mood or perspective? Perhaps you encountered a moment of awe or found solace in the simplicity of nature's rhythms. Share your thoughts and feelings about this experience, capturing the essence of your connection with the natural world.

As we approach the halfway mark of our journey, I am filled with anticipation for the growth and discoveries that lie ahead. Tomorrow marks day 15, signaling our halfway point in this adventure of cultivating self-love. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to continuing our exploration together. Have a wonderful day!

  • Day 13 of 30 Creating a Life of Self-Love

Here we are, nearly halfway through our 30-day journey, and I'm eagerly anticipating the transformation awaiting you at the end. As we continue on this path toward embracing self-love, every step you take brings you closer to a life filled with profound change. I'm Sam, the community host and founder of Safe Heart Connections, our online community group dedicated to helping women discover and embrace self-love, thus enriching their lives in countless ways.

Today's affirmation holds immense power: "I release the need for approval from others and embrace my own worthiness." Just imagine the freedom that comes from no longer seeking validation from external sources but recognizing your inherent worthiness. This affirmation holds a special significance for me, as it marks a pivotal moment in my own journey toward self-love. And I want nothing more than for you to experience that same sense of liberation.

Now, onto today's task, one that holds a special place in my heart: Write a letter to yourself expressing gratitude and appreciation for who you are, independent of your accomplishments. Take a moment to handwrite this letter, as there's something profoundly impactful about putting pen to paper. Afterwards, I encourage you to store this letter in a safe place, perhaps to revisit it in the future. Before doing so, take a moment to reflect on the emotions and feelings that arose as you penned your letter of self-appreciation. Acknowledging and embracing your inherent worthiness is a powerful step toward releasing the need for external approval.

I look forward to reconnecting with you in our next session. Remember, each day you invest in self-love brings you closer to a life of fulfillment and authenticity. Keep walking this path with courage and conviction. See you soon.

I'm here representing Safe Heart Connections, our online community group dedicated to supporting women on their journey to loving themselves more fully. Through this journey, we not only enhance our own lives but also form meaningful connections along the way.

Let's dive into day 12. Our affirmation for today is powerful: "I trust my intuition and follow my inner guidance with confidence and courage." Trusting our intuition is deeply intertwined with self-love. When we truly love and believe in ourselves, we can trust the wisdom of our inner voice and navigate life with confidence.

Now, onto today's task: Take some time to listen to a podcast or read a book focused on personal growth or self-love. If you need recommendations, feel free to reach out to me. Even just 15 minutes of learning something new in this realm can contribute to the cultivation of self-love in your life.

And for our journal prompt: Reflect on something you learned from the podcast or book. Jot down any insights or revelations you had, and consider how you can integrate this newfound knowledge into your life to further nurture self-love.

I'm genuinely excited to witness your progress as we continue this journey together. Remember, each step you take brings you closer to creating a life filled with self-love.
