Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Tamil came up during the 70s and 80s and has been pushing the boundaries of fashion and art by blending the two together.

Early in his career, with his love for fashion, art and sports, he blend them together by designing professional sports uniforms for the National Football League specifically the 2001 NFL Pro Bowl Jerseys and athlete lines such as Allen Iversons Reebok collab.

In 2001, the launch of AMIAT came due to Tamils time spent cultivating and perfecting his talent as an independent contractor, designing profitable lines for major companies in the industry. In addition to designing for private and public licensing companies, brand building and the production of textile and apparel.

Long story short, he's one of them ones, and I'm looking forward to hearing this brother's amazing story and gems he's learned along the way.
