Self Talk with Dr. Ray Self

In this week's episode, Dr. Ray Self discusses how human nature can cause us to search for a particular way to obtain blessings or good fortune. But unfortunately, that search usually becomes a clear violation of scripture and grieves the Holy Spirit.

Gal 4:9 -10  But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years.

Job 41:1  "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?"  Have you ever wondered why you say one thing and something else is heard? The spirit of Leviathan will twist our words so that what is heard is not what is said and, therefore, causes strife, hurt, and misunderstanding. This spirit can be the underlying cause of many broken relationships. In this episode, Dr. Ray Self talks about this spirit that is usually unrecognized and how to deal with it

Recently, I had a request from a follower - I will call Ann - about handling her granddaughter, who seems heavily demonically oppressed. Sadly, Satan deceives, influences, and sometimes even controls those closest to us. I will discuss this problem and give biblical solutions that work.

There is a vast difference in the life of a Christian before the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and after the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Ray Self explains this difference and why sadly, it seems so controversial. Nevertheless, the work of the Holy Spirit is essential in every Christian's life so much that Paul said -those the Spirit is leading are the sons of God (Rom. 8:14). This tells us life with the Holy Spirit is not optional for a believer.
