She was a member of the US Snowboard Team and narrowly missed competing at the 2014 Olympics. After retiring from professional snowboarding, Jordie focused her attention back to the community she loves as a real estate professional for Compass. Tracy and Bubba Eggleston are a professional husband-wife broker team with Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty specializing in luxury residential sales. Tracy was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Palm Beach and Bubba is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. They met in Aspen while Tracy was working in her family’s real estate investment and hotel management company, and became a husband-wife broker team more than 15 years ago. With their comprehensive knowledge of the market and philosophy of living what they sell — they are consistently one of the most successful broker teams in the hyper competitive Aspen real estate market.

In our conversation we discussed the competitive advantages of teaming up with your spouse while maintaining a strong work/life balance. Understanding when a client truly wants to sell their property, versus just listing it. Legendary Aspen broker and developer Bob Bowden graduated from Valparaiso University with a BSEE in electrical engineering. He became involved in the family electronic manufacturing business and attended graduate studies at the University of South Dakota and Stanford. In the mid-80’s, he sold his interests and moved to Aspen, CO where he invested in real estate, including a nightclub, and became a fixture in the community.

Bob went on to obtain his real estate license, became a successful broker, and eventually moved into general contracting and built spec homes under the flag Bowden Homes. With success in development, Bob saw a need to offer residential and commercial design services and opened the Aspen Design Room. Along the way, Bob raised four kids in the Aspen school district and currently serves as chairman of the Aspen Education Foundation board of directors.

Sarah Broughton is a principal at Rowland+Broughton, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm in Aspen and Denver, Colorado. Sarah brings over two decades of experience in the architecture and interior design industry. She is the firm's champion of design philosophy, leader to the staff, and a highly respected colleague in the design community and among her clients.

Sarah is very active in the Aspen community and has served as Chair of the Historic Preservation Commission. Rowland+Broughton is annually recognized for achievement in Interior Design magazine’s Top Hospitality Design and Interior Design Giants lists. Sarah has had the honor to serve as the American Institute of Architects West Director and was awarded the Defy Ordinary award from the City of Aspen Chamber — recognizing her as a champion of the community and a leader to her colleagues.

Theo Williams is originally from Sheffield, England and found his way to Aspen after being chosen to coach a local soccer team and build a nonprofit soccer club. He quickly fell in love with the active mountain lifestyle, accepting community, and relaxed culture which led him to call the Roaring Fork Valley home. His passion for helping people and building lasting relationships, as well as expertise in the hotel and rental industry, led him to real estate.

When he isn’t working, you can find him pursuing his passion for fitness, hiking, and biking. He was recently honored with the Community Service Award from his brokerage firm Slifer Smith & Frampton after biking from Aspen to Santa Monica, California raising $26,000 for the Aspen Hope Center.
