Senior doctors are worried they'll never get on top of the waiting list for treatments due to a lack of health staff, and suitable hospital spaces. Tens-of-thousands of people are overdue for hospital treatment, and the numbers keep climbing. The Ministry of Health's backlog grew substantially during last year's national lockdown and remains stubbornly high.
