A surprisingly strong Kate-centered episode, this week we resonate HARD with her daddy issues…for very valid reasons. We break down Kate’s complicated relationship with her father, the emotional walls built by policing and authority systems, and how the episode questions whether becoming hardened and detached is really necessary to “do the job.” We talk Angel being hilariously affected by this week’s magic mojo, Cordelia and Doyle trying to manage everyone’s breakdowns, and why this episode ended up being way more emotionally layered than expected.
