In this video I discuss my recent trip to Brighton SEO and my past experiences with search engine optimisation.
I am of the opinion that when you post something to social media, unless it's viral you are only targeting your existing customer base (followers) and a slight chance of targeting their friends/followers.
SEO is a different ball game. It allows you to be highly targeted in your approach to digital marketing. Optimise your website for keywords your customers are actively searching for on search engines like Google and you have a much higher chance of converting that website visitor to a paying customer. The beauty of this highly targeted approach is that it's a more difficult thing to pull off so you can easily leave all your competitors behind once you know what you are doing.
