The Lord expects us to plan and, and He wants us to. The longer we live, the more we realize that He ordains our steps. Understanding this removes disappointment and causes us to focus on the faithfulness of God.

Jesus addresses the ones who were starting to believe in Him. He tells them that they must continue in the Word in order to truly be His disciples. The Word is the only thing that can set us free and form us into the image of Jesus Christ.

Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

Jesus knew this world was not his home. He came to bring the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of God is always a different spirit than is in the world.

We come to God with very limited resources to serve Him, but when placed in His hands, they can produce a superabundance of resources for His calling, glory and mission. Let’s bring to him all we have and let Him use it for His glory.

Jesus asks a man paralyzed for 38 years if he wasn’t to be made well. It’s an interesting question and worth exploring. There is something to human nature that can become comfortable with brokenness and cease to seek God’ best and blessings.

God has uniquely gifted every single one of us, and he wants us to dive into our gifting, and the things that we are passionate about. But he also wants us to live a story in a passion that is bigger than us to live a life worthy of his purpose and his calling on us. Today we dive into what it looks like to live our lives with true passion, and in God’s purpose.

Jesus’ food, His sustenance, His energy, His motivation, His desire was to do the will of God. What is the will of God? To lift our eyes and see the need to share the Gospel. The field of humanity is ripe, and we are not to say there are yet four months. We are to engage now.

John 3:16 is arguably the pinnacle verse of the entire Scriptures—both of the Old Covenant and the New. In this verse, having been memorized by most Christians, encapsulates all the intentions of the Father’s heart for all that He has made. Their are three critical players in God’s Kingdom purpose revealed in this verse. They are God, the Son, and whoever believes in Him.

God’s desire is that we would see the Kingdom of God. It comes not through personal reform, religious zeal, or station in life. To truly see the Lord, one must bet born again—regenerated from the inside out.
