God keeps his promises.

A crucial component of the “very good” of Genesis 1:31 is seen in God’s provision of a wife/helpmate for the man (Gen. 2:18-25). This one-flesh union between one man and one woman is the pattern for all subsequent marriages and was in fact designed from the very beginning to point people to the union between Christ and His Bride (Eph. 5:22-32)

Be the church, by laying down your life for the sake of the gospel.

Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

Living in Exile and longing for the New Jerusalem, we sing and we pray for our Lord and Christ to put all things right and usher in His promised and consummated Kingdom.

Christians must fixate their minds on things above, since they’ve died with Christ and are now hidden safely with Him until that last day when they’ll be revealed with Him in glory.

Christians are called to influence the world for the glory of Christ.

Christians need a God-centered perspective in order to walk through the many hardships that come our way. God is sovereign and his plans are eternal. This truth will enable us to trust Him as we follow the same suffering-to-glory pattern demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ.
