Culture is how we live, work, commune with others. It changes all the time. In the US our culture changes from state to state, city to city, neighborhood to neighborhood. While some changes are positive others are negative. We talk about some of these on this episode. 

Work your wage or quiet quitting go hand in hand.  There's a misconception that it's about being lazy. The reality is there are those of us who will no longer let companies take advantage of free labor. Above and beyond is status quo. It no longer sets you apart. However working to death isn't going to cut it either. That's what we get into this episode.  Coming at it from the restaurant/hospitality perspective.  

We can't believe it's been a year already. Crazy to think this all started to meet people and forge friendships. We have learned a lot this past year. Going from 6 participants to 4. It sure has been fun. Thank you to all who have listened and are growing the podcast. We have a few changes coming shortly, which we'll announce when w shake out all the details. Poor Cody's brain completely lost control today. We all have those days. So you get to listen to Cheryl rattle off dates. I'd say we're having an off day but everyday is like that. There are so many squirrel moments that I'm not even sure what we talked about. However make sure to catch us next week for our year in review.  

Fresh haircuts, bad tippers, unwanted hugs, and misters. When we fly by the seat of our pants we never know where the conversations will go. This week we enjoyed each others company and laughed a lot with and at each other.

Deep thoughts by the serves you right women. OK maybe not deep thoughts probably more like random thoughts.  There's a lot going on in our heads, so we'd thought we'd share some. 

We're rounding out the women's right series by talking about the government. More specifically how much control the government should have in our lives. Do the people incharge wield their power appropriately or take advantage of it? I think we've done a pretty good job staying on point for this series. Thank you for listening. 

Reproductive rights are a hot topic these days. So many opinions fly about. What's right and what's  wrong. Who's wrong and who's right.  The divisiveness that politicians play. We give our opinions on the subject in this episode. An important topic that needs to talked about. 

Women have only had the right to vote for a hundred and two years. That's less then half the time the US has been a country. What are we doing with that right? How well are we utilizing it. Obviously this episode is all about what we think on the subject. Politics has become a taboo topic. Why? It doesn't make sense that something so important isn't talked about.

We're continuing on in our women's rights series with women's rights in the workplace.  It's hard to believe that most laws referring to the workplace and women have only really been in play for about 50 years. In this episode we're just talking about what we think about it all. Hope you enjoy!
