This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"God Is Still Greater!"
Our current culture and society believe that man is the epitome of all things. . . that he/she is the center of their own universe. A careful examination of man’s actions and beliefs within culture and society demonstrates this.
Why is it that we are so determined to be the center of our own little universe?
I believe it is so that we can feel that we are in complete control. We want to be the masters of our own fate.
People have often believed throughout history that they are the center of the universe.
Is that true? Of course not. . . but you would be hard-pressed to find very few people today who would disagree. Much of the world has bought into the tenet of Secular Humanism, which believes that they are little gods unto themselves. . . that within them exists all that they need to live out their lives successfully.
They believe they have no need of anyone or anything outside of themselves. . . they intentionally live without God.
Nebuchadnezzar wrongly believed that he was in control and that all things revolved around him. He can’t fathom how wrong he is and the consequences of his beliefs!

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"Being Faithful Irregardless!"
Daniel chapter 3 illustrates the importance of standing firm in one’s faith and being willing to obey God, even in the face of persecution and temptation. The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s refusal to worship the golden image created by Nebuchadnezzar is a powerful testimony to the strength of their faith and their willingness to stand up for their beliefs, even in the face of death.
This story also highlights the sovereignty and power of God.
Despite the intense heat and deadly flames of the fiery furnace, God protected and delivered the three men, showing that He is able to work in the lives of His people in miraculous ways.
This serves as a reminder that God is in control and that His power is greater than any human ruler.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"The Future That Is Yet To Come!"
Daniel’s explanation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream shares a blueprint of historical events for the coming thousands of years.
Since the majority of these events have come to pass, we now stand in amazement over the sovereignty of God. This passage from Daniel 2:31-45 serves as a reminder that God is in control of all things and that even the most difficult trials in life are part of a larger plan that is ultimately for our good and the good of the world.
This story serves as a reminder that the world's life is not random but is part of a divinely written plot directed by a God who holds every person and event in His hands.
As believers, we can take comfort in knowing that we are in the hands of a loving God who is in control of all things and has a plan for our lives.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"The Sovereignty of God!"
One of the most comforting doctrines for the Christian is the sovereignty of God. God’s sovereignty is His. . . meaning God’s right and power to do all that he decides to do.
Much of the world dismisses the concept of the sovereignty of God. Why is that?
It is because man believes that he is the ruler of all. . . master of his own fate.
Though the book of Daniel begins with a very notable pagan king and nation attacking and defeating Judah and overthrowing Jerusalem, and it seems that this king. . . Nebuchadnezzar is sovereign in his actions, it was God who delivered Judah into his hands.
Through this very action, God shows His omnipotence. . . His sovereignty. . .He shows that all things are subject to His commands.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"Without Compromise!"
How do we remain faithful to God when no one around us believes in Him?
What do I mean?
For instance, many people are the only Christian in their family. . . the only Christian in their workplace, and the only Christian in their neighborhood.
Now, we might say that it makes no difference that we are the only Christians within our circle of influence. . . but it does matter.
It matters concerning our testimony. . . it matters concerning our mandate to be salt and light.
It also matters that, as the only Christians, we are an island within a sea of temptation.
If you don’t have a predetermined plan on how you will respond to Satan’s temptations, you will fail. . . or at the very least compromise your faith and become that which is useless.
God’s Word is very clear that we are to participate in exercises that increase our practical holiness as well as increasing our practical success.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"Abusing God's Grace!"
Have you ever heard of or used the phrase, "I’ll ask forgiveness later!"
In our culture and society, this phrase is often used by someone who intends to go against an established rule or regulation supposing the outcome. . . the pragmatic good. . . will override the infraction and that forgiveness will be granted.
Summed up another way. . .
The person presumes that though they commit an intentional wrong that forgiveness will be granted and all will be forgotten.
Most folks use the phrase, "I’ll ask for forgiveness later" in a humorous way. Though they realize what they are doing. . . or will do. . . is wrong, they do it anyway believing that the end justifies the means.
They believe that breaking the rules a little will not create or produce a lasting effect upon their lives.
Is it possible to fall into this error as Christians?
Of course it is! Though we might not come right out and say it, we can. . . at times. . . feel like we can ask for forgiveness later for our present intent and actions.
I am here to tell you that such behavior and thought abuses God’s grace.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"Taking A Hard Look!"
The vast majority of people tend to take a moment during the last days of each year to reflect upon the past weeks and months and to make plans for the upcoming year.
Maybe, you did this during this past week. I know that I did.
The ancient philosopher Socrates stated that. . .
“The unexamined life is really not worth living.”
How do you think about or describe your Christian life to yourself?
We might say that we are a pretty good judge of character.
However, I will assure you that this is not always the case with us.
As I thought about this, I came up with the following. . .
While we can be fooled by others, we are most able and apt to fool ourselves.
Just think of the times you said to yourself after a failure, "I was just fooling myself!"
Do we ever fool ourselves concerning our spiritual life?
The Christian runner is to focus his eyes and mind upon Jesus Christ. Why? Because Jesus Christ Himself ran the race of faith when He was upon earth, and He shows us exactly how to run it.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"God's Christmas Gifts!"
Are the gifts we received this Christmas the greatest Christmas presents available to a human being?
For us as Christians, we clearly understand that they are not!
What is the greatest gift? The greatest gift is the child born in the manger in Bethlehem.. .a gift that changed the entire fabric of our lives. . .a gift we cannot live without.
In fact, Christmas has no meaning without this gift. Life has no meaning without this gift.
Though the world has commercialized and changed Christmas into something completely different. . . the opinion of the world does not change the fact that Christmas is about Jesus.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"The Greatest Christmas Present!"
Will the gifts we receive be the greatest Christmas presents we have ever received – be the greatest present ever presented to another?
For us as Christians, we clearly understand that they will not be!
What is the greatest gift? The greatest gift is the child born in the manger in Bethlehem.. .a gift that changed the entire fabric of our lives. . .a gift we cannot live without.
Christmas has no meaning without this gift. Life has no meaning without this gift.
Many people have received this gift – including many of us. We will never forget the day when we realized the value and purpose of this gift.
However, we also know that many people have not yet received this gift!
Though the world has commercialized and changed Christmas into something completely different. . . the opinion of the world does not change the fact that Christmas is about Jesus.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:
"A Yes or No! A Maybe Won't Do!"
Regardless of our fears concerning decisions, they are a necessary factor in life.
The most important human decision during one’s lifetime is:
"What will you do with Jesus Christ?"Everyone, without question, makes a decision about who and what He is?
If you do not make what we might call a conscious decision, one is made by default. If you do not receive Him, then by default, you reject Him.
