Seven Deadly Sinners

Larry Nassar is a master at the art of deception, a man who used his brain to manipulate and con young girls, their parents, school boards, Olympic heads of the industry. He used his brain. He was smart, and he was bold often committing his life shattering crimes to people who considered him family, often right when the parents were in the room, or upstairs at their own home.

What Larry Nassar succeeded at doing for decades to cover up his crimes WOULD BE A STARK DIFFERENCE , TO WHAT Larry Nassar woke up to IN PRISON. A hard reality. WHAT made him a confident criminal for DECADES would be stripped from him once he was in prison with people a lot harder a lot tougher and perhaps with a lot LESS to lose THAN THE national medical coordinator for USA Gymnastics.

Rachael talks with her friend Terra Newell for an exclusive interview on how to spot coercive control from a master manipulator.

This episode covers the documentary "Behind the Shiny, Happy People" focusing on the movement that made the Duggars keep on counting: the Institute in Basic Life Principles, and its founder, Bill Gothard Jr.

Some have likened the ministry’s teachings to the fictional HULU series, A Handmaids’ Tale. The documentary depicts the alleged spiritual, psychological, physical and sexual abuse at IBLP programs over the course of decades.

Research and writing this week by Kate Kodman.

Kristen & Luke are hanging at the ranch this week and Rachael sits them down to ask the big question: Is Bigfoot real?

The crew analyzes some of the best clips Rachael has found and debates the existence of the cryptid. They talk about "Sex, Love & What Else Matters" Kristen and Luke's new podcast, Bigfoot, Skin-walkers and the unbelievable taxidermy in Mike Hunter's living room.

Rachael presents a new listener driven theory further cracking the Long Island Serial Killer case.

In the middle of nowhere Texas, Marietta Texas to be exact, there is a woman from a trailer park claiming to be the commander of the Intergalactic Federation of Worlds.... and no she isn't auditioning for a part in the next installment of Star Wars.... this is Linda McGillis, a true cult con artist, taking her followers money and sanity with it.

We took a much needed breather from the topic of this episode. We recorded part 1 several months ago and news has continued to pour in from Kenya regarding the Shakahola massacre. If you haven’t listened to that first episode, I highly recommend doing so before jumping in here (it is episode 145 from May 7). Now that we have a bit more insight … .it seemed high-time to record this second episode.

This episode will focus on the other pastor arrested for their alleged involvement in the case as well as first-hand accounts from survivors and their families … as well as the blind eye that authorities seemed to turn toward the entire situation when alarm bells were sounding.

And major trigger warning while listening. Most of the interviews we will play in this episode are very graphic and difficult to listen to.

Back to the case — perhaps the most shocking new statistic? The number of bodies that have been recovered from multiple shallow grave sites deep in the Shakahola forest. If you remember from our first episode, that number stood just over 100 lost souls. Now? It’s a staggering 300+ with hundreds still missing and exhumations continuing day after day. One of you commented on an instagram post that you were worried this could rival the Jonestown Massacre and I hate to say it, but I’m right there with you in that line of thinking.

This week's episode is about Bernarr McFadden - Yes, he made his name up - he also created the violent magazine "True Detective" ... And guess who was an avid reader of true detective and credits many of his murderous urges to the Magazine one Theodore Bundy oh and Ed Gein oh, and the green river killer sorry, Otis Toole, Richard ramerirez, and the self named BTK Dennis Lynn Radar.

In this bonus episode on the case of Tyler Lewis we hear from his girlfriend, Karla, who Erie County D.A. John Flynn did not call to the stand despite the family asking for it....

The Erie County District Attorney said Friday that no one will be charged in the death of Buffalo State student Tyler Lewis because the grand jury ruled his killing as justifiable.

Lewis’ mother, Roquishia Lewis, says “There's no justification for murder.”

In part two we dive into D.A. John Flynn's press conference.
