Comedian and Macey Isaacs
Holy shit this episode is amazing. Says Macy’s second time on the show and we’re gonna have her back on Valentine’s Day episode and the Mardi Gras episode which happen to be about the same time. We really get into rosacea. We also talk about a lot of things that aren’t rosacea, but are about Things related to rosacea. Also, we talk about a lot of things that aren’t related to rosacea. This episode went long because it was so much fun and we didn’t want to stop.
* Rosacea affects more than 14 million people in the U.S. It can affect anyone, but it most often affects people who have fair skin and women and people assigned female at birth (AFAB). Symptoms usually arise after age 30.
It’s somewhat mysterious what the origins are, but they do seem to be gut related in many cases. We discussed that and what foods are helpful and what foods are harmful. We talk about the different types of rosacea, the doctor prescribed drugs that are common, antibiotics, and some effective treatments you can do at home with ingredients from your cupboard

The topic of melasma was unintentional as we were going to talk about something else but, then Tania came in with an amazing story about melasma that she had (that was very bad) and how she got rid of NATURALLY it I definitely think it’s worth listening to. Not to mention the fact that she’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and very sexy. In case you can’t tell, the Sex, Drugs and Skincare podcast is in love with Tania.

Our excellent special, sweetheart and funniest person. we know Stretch S.H.P. of a friend discusses it with us And ask relevant questions such as due Black people also get melasma?
Stretch paints a picture of his former life in his previous profession of drug dealer. It’s really good. Like and subscribe. Listen wherever you get your podcasts.

The Sugar Episode/ Guest Comedian Precious Hall
The Hilarious Precious Hall and SDS podcast discuss the effects of sugar on your skin. It’s a sweet episode. Sorry I had to say it.
Precious is one of the funniest people I know, and we’re so glad to have had her killing us on the pod. There is a lot of Dallas Cowboy talk while I stare blankly into the universe because I know everything about sports.
When we eat sugar, the molecules attach to the proteins and form free radicals. The presence of these radicals, in turn, can cause oxidative damage in our body which is evident on our skin (aka wrinkles and sagging) hair, nails and overall energy levels in the body.
Alcohol and refined foods can also have the same effect.
Watch the full episode on YouTube and listen wherever you get your podcasts. Like and subscribe, babe.

Eye Bags/Comedian Hormoz Rashidi
Comedian Hormoz Rashidi joins the podcast as we delve into the causes of eyebags, and what we can do about them. This is such a funny episode. If you’re not coming for the skin care, at least stay for the Comedy.
As we age, the fat around your eye area can start to sink, contributing to bags under the eyes. Other causes of puffy under-eyes can also include lack of sleep or overeating salty food, genetics, vitamin deficiencies, adrenal fatigue, and a whole lot more.
There are many ways to combat the puffiness around our eyes and sagginess without blepharoplasty.

This episode is white hot. Mainly because we talk about sun protection with guess comedian, Christine Little. I am very fair and had to protect my skin pretty much my whole life. We get the answer to the question of whether or not the sun affects us our skin through a window. We also talk about SPF and what it actually means and how it should affect how long you stay in the sun.

It’s actually from apple stems and helps to fill in lines in your face, so you can look as smooth as a baby. This is a fantastic and fascinating episode. The best part is Robin gives me a mini facial
