Zunilda “Amy” Hoyos Mendez, a rising star in the bodybuilding world, was reportedly killed in a horrific act of domestic violence. Police in Spain believe Mendez’s husband, Jarrod Gelling, beat her with a hammer, then stabbed himself. The couple’s bodies were found inside a rental home after Mendez didn’t show up to her gym to train for an upcoming competition.
