If you haven't heard of Lillian Boyer, she was probably the most epic person EVER! From 1921, Boyer made a living doing completely crazy mid-air stunts on planes. I'm talking hanging from a plane using one hand and hanging from the wing by her knees or ankles!

But the most mind-blowing trick she did was her most dangerous one. She'd get out of the cockpit holding a thin wire with a mouthpiece at the end of it. She'd then hang under the plane holding on just by her teeth! The crowd below couldn't see the wire, so they probably thought she'd fallen out of the plane at first!
