In this episode, Bev and Delaney tackle some of the most misused, misunderstood, and misinterpreted topics in the Bible. There is a new movement in the American Church called the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) where the definitions of prophet and apostle have left their historical, biblical meaning and are being un-biblically used. Bev and Delaney will explain the key tenets of NAR, the major problems with NAR, and talk about some of the major players in this movement. Many are being indoctrinated into this deceptive false gospel and Christians need to be aware of this subtle and nuanced movement.
"Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die." Scripture has a lot to say about forgiveness, and there are many sobering verses regarding forgiveness. Today, Bev and Delaney are talking about receiving forgiveness, how to forgive, the fight to maintain forgiveness, joy of forgiveness, and where we are in our forgiveness journey.
Bev and Delaney are joined by Bonnie Gasper, Vice Chair and Communication Director of Child Protection League, to discuss parental rights, specifically in Minnesota. Bonnie has been in education trenches for over 24 years and started investigating public education when her oldest daughter went to kindergarten. Bonnie is an expert on the way God designed the family and an expert of the current political issues facing parents today. In this episode, Bonnie answers "why are families and parental rights under attack?" and "who/what is behind this movement?" Bonnie is an advocate for parents to live out their God-given rights as parents, an advocate for the safety of children, and an advocate for biblical principles in education. This episode will open your eyes to what is really going on behind the scenes in Minnesota's education system and provide hope from God's WORD about how we are to respond.
Did you know there are over 30 Genesis references in the book of Revelation? Genesis and Revelation are the bookends of the Bible and we see what God initiates in Genesis being fulfilled in Revelation. Scripture is a metanarrative which means it is one grand unfolding story that reveals who God is and His plan for the world. By comparing Genesis and Revelation, you can see how God finishes what He starts and how God will destroy the serpent in the end times.

This Living by the Spirit has great implications for everything in a Christian’s life. Scripture is filled with truths we need to know in order to live by the power of the Holy Spirit, listen to learn more.

Stereotyped as uptight, boring legalists, the Puritans have gotten a bad reputation. But, the heart and work of the original Puritans was incredibly passionate, rich, from the WORD, and Holy Spirit filled. The Puritans have greatly shaped the Church today and did a lot of work surrounding holiness, suffering, daily life and more. The Puritans were devoted to preserving the "purity" of God's WORD. Join Bev and Delaney as they talk about what we can learn from these Christians we should know-- the Puritans.
