Welcome back baby!!! Today we are diving into part one of Abigayle’s trip to Uganda! There was so much to share this is going to be a 2 parter! She’s sharing about the lead up to her trip as well as specific things she experienced while there. Being both on the prayer team and serving on the medical team, there is a lot to unpack. More than anything this trip magnifies how GOOD GOD IS. Seeing how healing miracles  still happen and how much he loves each and every one of us is the reminder we need!!!! We are so happy to be back podcasting and can’t wait to share part 2 next week!!

Happy Wednesday SMW listeners!!! Boy do we have an episode for you! Abigayle starts by sharing her not one but TWO near death experiences over the last couple weeks, being neighbors with THE GREAT BAMBINO and LOCK JAW.  

But the purpose of today’s episode is to share our personal experience living a life full of prayer.  ‘The Power of Prayer’ is a topic we could go on and on and on… Well you get the point. Listen as we share how our lives have transformed from spending consistent time with God; in the word and in prayer. 

What does it look like to pray? How do I deepen my prayer life and TRULY trust the plans the Lord has for me? Does God even hear me when I pray? Am I worthy enough to pray to Him? These are all questions we’ve contemplated. Whether you live a rich prayer life or maybe you don’t even know how to pray. 

We are BIG believers in that we CANNOT go through life alone. We weren’t created for that!!!!! Learning to have a strong prayer life has changed both of our lives. Letting go of the things that aren’t meant for us to carry and giving it all to God forces us to lean into him. To trust Him. Once you do that it brings us closer to him and allows us to form an authentic relationship with Him.
