Crystal "Zee" Hardy is an Anishnawbe hand drummer from Biinjitiwabik Zaaging Anishnabek in Northern Ontario, Canada. Her Spirit name is Zongwe Binesikwe, which means Sounding Thunderbird Woman. She is the host of Under the Same Stars podcast, and Zee's Place radio show on CILU 102.7FM. She makes thunder in keynote addresses and seminars with topics related to decolonizing healthcare practices through cultural humility, empowerment of Indigenous people, and missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada. She is no stranger to the hardships and trauma that many Indigenous people face. Her mother, Ruby, is one of the missing Indigenous women in Canada. Zongwe Binesikwe has overcome adversity to become a shining light to others.
