He speaks. (Acts 13:2) “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
He teaches. (John 14:26) “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
He guides. (Acts 8:29) “The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”
He is obeyed. (Acts 10:19–21) “While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three[a] men are looking for you. So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.” Peter went down and said to the men, “I’m the one you’re looking for. Why have you come?”
He is walked with. (Galatians 5:16) “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
He is grieved. (Ephesians 4:30) “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
