Shiny things & pirate queens

In this episode of Thick & Thin we discuss a few new goals of mine here in LA. We also chat about Shiny Object Syndrome, which is essentially the act of diving into a slew of different "shiny" projects, never quite finishing things, fear of commitment, being super scattered in your interests, etc. Then, I tell the tale of Grace O'Malley, aka the Pirate Queen of Ireland. She was a fearless pirate & skilled negotiator, married twice, divorced once, took a lover when she wanted, and gave birth to one of her sons on the deck of her own ship.
