Shit Talk Reviews

The Shit Talk guys had a great conversation with the talented Igor Amadeus Cavalera. Igor is a talented guitar and bass player, vocalist, songwriter author, outdoor enthusiast and all-around socially conscious fella. Growing up in a hugely musical family, Igor was predisposed to the industry at an early age and latched right on. He’s a great cat and the guys had a great time getting to know what turns Igor’s wheels.

The Cavalera family founded The Iggy Fund in 1998 with the Phoenix Children’s Foundation to assist families in need who have children with diabetes. The fund provides Iggy Kits that contain the medicine and supplies they need to help manage the autoimmune disease. They’ve had great success in helping families for many years but they can always use more support. Join the Shit Talk Reviews family and visit the site and make a donation here https://phoenixchildrensfoundation.org/the-iggy-fund/

Be sure to flick that right turn signal on and pull into https://www.shittalkreviews.com to check out a whole mess of podcast album reviews, written reviews, links to music reviewed by the STR jackholes, giveaways and more.

The fellas sit down for a chat with guitarist and song writer Dan Lorenzo. Some of Dan's numerous projects include Hades, Non Fiction, Cassius King, Vessel Of Light and most recently the powerhouse collaborative Patriarchs In Black. The New Jersey native talks all things music, his personal history, his thoughts on singles versus albums and a slew of other topics.

Swing by https://www.shittalkreviews.com for all the podcasts, interviews, music reviews, giveaways and mailing lists. Once a month, the STR buffoons will mail a lucky visitor a lock of David J's hair in a commemorative heart shaped locket, so you definitely don't want to miss out on that!

It’s all about 3TEETH as the Halloweenies talk ENDEX, the lastest offering from the L.A. based industrial metal band. Have a watch or a listen as the guys get into it and discuss not only the album, but breeze by a few classic horror flicks, David’s wardrobe, Derek’s pythons and John’s Mick Gordon fandom.

The STR crew had the great pleasure of sitting down for a chat with Trevor Phipps, the incredibly thoughtful vocalist from the powerhouse metalcore band UNEARTH. Trevor shares some of his thoughts on family, the environment and being a warrior for metal.

UNEARTH will be on the road in Europe in November 2023. If you have the chance to see a show, don’t miss it! Check out the band’s website at https://unearthofficial.com for all the news.

Hit up https://www.shittalkreviews.com for a bucketload of album reviews, podcasts, giveaways and directions on how to get to David J’s house. You can also eave a voicemail for the guys, suggest an album to review or tell John to finally cut his hair.

This time around the Sh!t Talk malcontents talk the new album from Patriarchs In Black. The P.I.B. duo, powered by Dan Lorenzo and Johnny Kelly, brought another great album that's loaded with a great roster of guest artists.

Be sure to drop by https://www.shittalkreviews.com to see all the podcasts, written reviews and links to music by all the bands that the STR buffoons talk about. If you're watching this clip on YouTube, you can also check out the audio-only versions on your preferred streaming platform. If you're listening, shoot over to YouTube and you can see the idiots up close and personal!

Do you dig progressive metal, loaded with top-rate compositions, killer performances and amazing production? Of course you do. Fall into your favorite chair and hang with the Sh!t Talk yahoos as they get into War Of Being, the latest album from Tesseract. We also learn that David is a part time Ninja Turtle, Derek has to fight for any opportunity to speak and that John can hardly contain his fanaticism.

Want a signed copy of URNE's new vinyl? (Signed by the members of URNE, not the STR idiots, to be clear...) Swing by https://www.shittalkreviews.com to sign up for the giveaway and you can check out a slew of other written and podcast reviews. You can even grab Derek's recipe for Knuckle Dragger Chili. (And even leave the fella's a voicemail!)

If you're watching this on YouTube, you can also find all the podcasts wherever you listen to your podcasts, and if you're a listener, you can watch some of the clips on YouTube. (That's just how much the guys need the attention. It's marginally pathetic...)

Judas Priest dropped a new single on us, so the feeble Sh!t Talk Reviews brain trust sat down for a podcast quickie to review it! They also circled around a few upcoming interviews and mused about 80s movies and what masks they should wear.

Next time you're out on the highway of interwebs, get off at exit 174 and drop by https://www.shittalkreviews.com for a slew of music reviews, podcasts, interviews and even some swanky giveaways!

RAMBLE WARNING! This time around, the morons (under the guise of having been busy,) aren’t talking about an album. After some time on the road the Sh!t Talk chuckleheads ramble on (ad nauseum) about their trip to New England, the astonishing Boston tour guide that is Keith Bennett and a killer show at The Paradise Rock Club (Death Ray Vision, Incite, Exhumed and Cavalera Conspiracy.) A great show at a great venue, packed with choice people (and excellent beer.)

Boston is a great city. If you haven’t experienced
it yet, do it. So much to do, to see, to eat and all kinds of music. (You can
even get Country Time Lemonade there!) Be sure to drop by Armageddon Shop for
amazing music and vibes! Before you make your travel plans, be sure to swing by
the STR website at https://www.shittalkreviews.com and pick up your neck
pillow, Dramamine and dopp kit.

This week the buffoons sat down to talk about Everywhere, Everything, the latest album from Polar. Some tough questions were raised during this convo: Will Dave get naked and spoon with Derek? Will Derek make a deposit in David's tailpipe? Will John run screaming from all of it?

Don't forget, the morons have a website now. They think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. (Let's face it, it is. If Mr. Rogers had a website it might be cooler, but he doesn't. So it's up to the STR malcontents to reign supreme on the topic of having the singular best website ever created. Ever.) drop on by http://www.shittalkreviews.com to decide for yourself. You can even leave a voicemail, write a review of the show or comment on an episode.
