We are talking about intuition and what feels best to you. In friendships, relationships and everything in between I think we tend to act on what society tells us to do. But that may not always be the answer. We’re tapping into the logical side of our brain, and cooperating without our emotional side, to come to a conclusion that's optimal for us. Focusing on people who make us feel secure, and shifting our attention away from people who disrupt our sense of security. Let's get into it, because this shit is hard :///

Rooting for yourself is soooooo hard. I'm having trouble being on my side right now. Been feeling a little stuck lately - in my career, mental health, and just overall life. I feel like I cannot get focused :/ let's talk about it!! We’re covering goals for 2024, looking back on 2023, leaving the past in the past and focusing on perspective. Trying to stay optimistic but that shit is hard!!

I have been in LA for a little over 1 year now!! We’re talking about my time in LA so far: the things I’ve done, people I’ve met, and places I’ve gone :)) I’m giving the dirty deets of working for an influencer, becoming a personal trainer, and moving on from everyone I came here with. The holidays can be really hard for some people, whether that be because of family issues, distance, money, or just the societal standard of having a perfect white Christmas with matching sweaters! The holidays look different for everyone and for me it feels like the holidays look significantly different every year. This is my 2nd year spending Thanksgiving in Los Angeles, and it’s not so bad. We’re going over spending the holidays alone, the opportunities that come with being alone, and how to get in the holiday spirit if you’re riding solo this season. If you’re having a hard time this holiday season, I’m right there with you. This Holiday shit is really hard ://

Friendships are one of the hardest relationships to maintain… they’re are so many levels of friendships with acquaintances, friends, best friends, and long distance besties. We’re diving in on communication, effort, and energy. All expenses that are not limitless and you have to be cautious who you give these things too!! We’re also going to touch on mistakes and how to not internalize them. And how to bear the uncomfortable accountability that comes up with confrontation and conflict management. Communication and Accountability is key here and I’ll share some personal stories on how this comes up in my life, cause this shit is harddddddd!!!

Being 20 something is deffff hard. We’re getting into white collar jobs, passion vs. contentment, and quality of life!! I have autonomy over my work schedule and my quality of life is insanely better than when I worked a 9-5. We’re touching on hustle culture, fuckin’ around vs. grind time, and getting organized about what we want out of life. After all, it is YOUR journey, and you should do whatever the fuck you want to with YOUR life. This Shit is for sure easier said then done, but let’s talk about it :))

What does the perfect version of you look like? Per the title, I’ve not been doing great mentally, not really feeling like myself. Been wondering what the perfect Amber would do in this situation … WWAD? What would Amber do? lol. So we are chatting about feeling disconnected from your feelings, going back to therapy, and giving yourself credit where it’s due!! We’re reconnecting with ourselves and reaching out for help when we need it, with no shame. And if you don’t know anyone else strugglin, ya got me, I’m right there with ya.
