In a heartbreaking and unimaginable tragedy, legendary Hollywood director and actor Rob Reiner (known for classics like The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally..., Stand by Me, and This Is Spinal Tap) and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home on December 14, 2025.

Their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner—who previously battled severe drug addiction and co-wrote the 2015 film Being Charlie with his father about those struggles—has been arrested and booked for murder.
