The Dodgers lost the series to the Mets over the weekend but at least they got a blowout win on Sunday. Shohei Ohtani passed Hideki Matsui for most home runs by a Japanese-born player in MLB, and maybe revealed that he had been pressing a bit to get that home run. He can now focus on being his best for the Dodgers. Tyler Glasnow shoved on Sunday, going eight shutout innings with 10 strikeouts. More starting pitching like that can go a long way to helping this team in a variety of ways. Lastly, the offense has been bad with runners in scoring position, specifically when it comes to making contact. Can that change?
