Speaking of breakups, when are you obligated to break up in person instead of over text or a phone call? And, if you happen to see that person in real life post-breakup, how do you handle it? (Hide!) In case you were wondering, dealing with seeing exes in person is a team sport. A certain ex of Olivia's better watch out -- Amy may just kick you in the shins if you get close enough!

During 60 Second Sips, Ashley asks if we'd swipe right or left on someone with no social media presence. Gosh, all this social media talk really has us reminiscing about simpler times, back when the most complicated thing about social media involved leaving that perfect away message on AIM for your crush to see and choosing the moodiest music for your Myspace page. 

We certainly start aging ourselves when we chat about driving in our cars without CD players and having to physically crank the windows down. Which brings us to the big question: are you blasting N*SYNC or Backstreet Boys? And, this wouldn't be an episode about '90s/'00s life without some talk about the fashion. Yes, we're reminding you that butterfly clips and "whale tails" were a thing. Proceed with caution - you may also get some PTSD just thinking about low rise jeans, too.

Inspired by a Bumble question prompt, we guess why each of us would be arrested. Do you think "my drunk alter ego did it" would hold up in court? Next, we help Olivia translate what the heck we think guys mean when they say things on the apps, like, "I'm looking for a filter-less beauty" -- what are you trying to say, sir? Plus, Olivia is feeling awfully stereotyped by her matches about being a dietitian, so we talk about the many ways in which we've all experienced this kind of quick judgement. 

After a game of 60 Second Sips during which we determine there is most certainly a correct way to sit in a booth as a couple (on the same side or the opposite side?), we talk about our favorite kitchen gadgets and the ones we think we could easily live without. You Instant Pot fans may need to enlighten us because we don't understand the appeal. And finally, Amy runs us through a list of clothes you should no longer be wearing in your 30s, and Ashley has a few things to say in rebuttal!

We're talking money in relationships once again, but this time we're focusing on how you deal with differences in income. What do you do if you're self conscious about making less? Or if your partner really seems to care about now being the breadwinner? We also wonder if it's even worse to be the kind of person who says they're self-made, but really aren't. Then, we talk about cheap date ideas (including hiking, which could be a bad date if not executed correctly, oops). 

After a quick detour to talk about how Ashley had the best college job (and Olivia has, well, the shittiest), Amy takes us through a 60 Second Sips with a bit of a theme (think slow drivers and acceptable modes of transportation). 

Finally, we round out this episode chatting about how getting your hair highlighted to cover grays is a non-negotiable for a couple of us. And yes, we only go to pricier salons because of the horror stories Ashley and Olivia share in this episode. After Ashley dishes all sorts of tips for successful at-home manicures, we ponder spring break trips as 30-somethings and daydream about being able to travel together again. Sigh. Someday!

Olivia just finished listening to the audiobook "How Not to Die Alone" by Logan Ury, and she is dying to discuss some of the most shocking details of the book. How much more does a guy have to make to be considered as attractive as someone taller than him? Should you incentivize people setting you up on dates? Can you make yourself stop searching for someone better by applying the "secretary theory" to dating? And lastly, are people just sliding into the next step of their relationships, especially by living together?

If you're both living with a S.O. for the first time, is that an advantage (both going into this with fresh eyes) or a disadvantage (neither really had experience or skills with the stress of newly cohabitating)?
