We're in Thailand at the moment, so of course, it'd be rude not to try out their national sport. And with MMA becoming more and more popular these days (with constant reminders when abroad: "yes we're from Ireland.. yes, Conor McGregor, we know"), we thought let's give this a go.
The benefits are the same as is expected of any fighting sport - self-defence, great exercise, feel like you're more of a badass than you actually are. But we wanted to know, what makes Muay Thai stand out? And is it something we'd consider taking on as a full-time hobby?
