WE ARE BACK!  we love that we have been getting grief lately from fans of the podcast for lack of content, we are actually flattered haha. We had an audio issue for a podcast so it wasn't usable and than Jay decided to get so sick he was on deaths door (it was actually a man cold....) so he was out for a while. HOWEVER, the sun is up, Jay is back to life - LET'S GET GOSSIPING!

We had friend of the show and top ranked Canadian Muay Thai fighter Kyle "BAD NEWS" Messenger stop by for a chat and since the last podcast their has been a ton of fight news, results and predictions and we tried to catch them all from the Liam Harrison fight heard round the world, to the most boring fight in UFC title history 2 days ago to even the possibility of JAKE PAUL fighting in our backyard! We always love having Kyle on the podcast talking shop, ShoutOut to you Sir!

CHRIS IS READY TO GO! Jay and Chris are back in the studio and boy, throw a rock and find a fight - THEY ARE EVERYWHERE and we did what we could to talk about them. first, We discuss the match ups we missed from the OneFC and Muay Thai World Cup as we promised from the last podcast. We also spend a few minutes talking boxing as it is absolutely ON FIRE right now with Spence Jr/Ugas this weekend as well as Mayweather announcing another exhibition fight. Plus, Did you see the Burns/Chimaev fight in the UFC?! not only was it an awesome fight, but with all eyes on Khamzat Chimaev did he live up to the hype or was it destroyed? we have a quick chat about it. 

AS ALWAYS - we have our Student SHOUTOUT, rapid SO's and we have a good time with a few silly Top3's of the day.

ALRIGHT FIGHT FANS! - Jay and Chris are back in studio after and ADRENALINE FILLED weekend of what we like best - MUAY THAI! we had a bit of a weird situation because the OneFC card was the same day as the Muay Thai World Cup which Jay was the commentator for, so he was unable to watch the OneFC fights, Chris on the other hand was in the corner for main event fighter - Jake Peacock, so he wasn't able to catch all the MTWC fights due to preparations in the back ... SO - Jay will be catching up on the OneFC fights, and Chris the MTWC and we will report further! in the meantime, we chat about the fight we DID get to see and breakdown what we saw from either ringside, or from the corner.

OOOH! Jay and Chris are back in the podcast studio today because WE HAVE SOME FIGHTS TO DISCUSS! most of todays podcast was focused around the GIANT OneFC fight card(s) Saturday, March 26th with the big one everyone is talking about - the Rodtang vs Demetrious Johnson special rules bout! we also have current OneFC World Champions on the card including Capitan Petchyindee, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, Superbon and Stamp Fairtex! also on the event is Muay Thai living legend John Wayne Parr in a possible retirement fight as he goes for his 100th win vs Wushu and MMA star Eduard Folayang. We also talk about and breakdown the match ups for the Muay Thai World Cup also on March 25th at the 7-chiefs sportsplex just outside Calgary, Alberta on the beautiful Tsuut'ina Nation which Jay will be commentating and Chris will be in the corner of the main event for Jake Peacock . WE ARE BACK! it's has been a few weeks since Jay and Chris have had a poddy due to real life getting in the way! (always...) but Today in studio we have top Ranked Canadian Muay Thai Fighter and Champion - Kyle "Bad News" Messenger! We talked to Kyle about growing up in a small town in Eastern Canada fishing Lobster and how he made it out west to Calgary and ultimately, how he found muay thai to where he is today. Kyle has a big fight March 26th on the Muay Thai World Cup with a familiar opponent and ex training partner Abdou Haddad. Along with discussing his fight and the history behind it, Kyle also breaks down his favorite match ups he's also looking forward to on the Muay Thai World Cup besides his own. We have known Kyle for years, but this was the 1st time Jay and Chris have been able to sit down and have a good long chat, it's always so fun to learn the story of the people who you bump elbows with in and around the battlefield. Jay and Chris are back in studio talking fisticuffs! fresh off of another OneFC card featuring the highly anticipated Haggerty vs Mongkolpetch tilt along side the OneFC Interim Heavyweight MMA title fight. We also give our predictions for UFC 271 Adesanya vs Whittaker and the predicted HEAVYWEIGHT SLOBBER KNOCKER in Derek Lewis vs Tai Tuivasa. We also have a few more matchups announced for the blockbuster Muay Thai World Cup event coming March 26th that we dissect and get into, we will try to break these matchups down a little more as the event gets closer and hopefully get a few fighters for the event on the podcast! also - CHRIS IS IN THE MARKET FOR SOME NEW MUAY THAI SHORTS! but needing a little advice where to spend his dollars, who better to ask than Jay?! listen and find out why!

Jay, Chris are back in the studio (my house today...) with Friend of the show and Arashi-Do Martial Arts Chief instructor - Kyoshi Mike! of course we talk about the OneFC kickboxing semi final brackets as well as some good MMA dust ups on the card, we also go over UFC 270 Gagne/Ngannou  and Moreno/Figueiredo fights and what we think is next for these men. AND FOR THE 1ST TIME, we have a good, long and interesting chat about grappling! Jay and Chris know nothing about grappling (pretty much...) so it was cool to listen and ask questions to Mike, it was a fun one!

"1,2,3 - let's get started!" Jay and the Cub are back in the dining room for a little weekend chat! I finally think the Cub is getting comfortable talking on a mic, today was good one! we chat our kitty with a hurt bum, swimming, getting needles and a good ol' Cub style joke to finish. ENJOY!

Jay is in studio with an opportunity to sit and chat with one of Canada's best and LONGEST active fighters - Mr. Justin Parsons! Justin is in town for the Giorgio Petrosyan seminar and was gracious enough to give us an hour of his time. If you listen to the podcast prior, this is the fella Jay was lined up to fight 21 YEARS AGO but never happened. It was an fantastic conversation not just about ring battles but life battles as well from bullying, to moving cities to world title fights to a long battle with addiction, the whole podcast had me totally focused and engaged, WELL WORTH A LISTEN and I'm so happy we were able to make this happen!

As always we breakdown some past events including Pallas Athena Woman's Fighting Championship, OneFC as well as discuss the upcoming UFC and OnceFC events. We also did our Top3, Student ShoutOut and our Rapid SO's!
