How do you show up for yourself and take responsibility for the future you dream of?
If you are a first-generation American, it’s likely that you feel pressure to make the most of the sacrifices your family took to get here - either self-inflicted or felt by others. Creating more opportunities for yourself and the future of your family begins when you show up for yourself and honor your dreams.
In this episode, I am joined by the wonderful Erika Cardenas. Erika is a first-generation American, as the daughter of Mexican parents who immigrated to the United States in the 1960s. She has worked with Farmers Insurance for the past 22 years, in which she has helped establish an insurance agency for 16 years through a partnership. Today, Erika is the proud sole owner of a thriving Farmers Insurance Agency in Westlake Village, California and she can’t wait to expand and collectively build more opportunities within her agency.
Tune in to Episode 80 of Amiga, Handle Your Shit, and learn about how Erika has shown up for herself, built the career she always dreamed of, and what lessons she has learned along the way!
