The screen adaptation of 'Mamma Mia', driven by hit harmonies created by supergroup ABBA became a sensation at the box office almost a decade ago and now the star-studded cast have reunited to bring us the eagerly awaited sequel, 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again'.

While the sequel is being praised on one end, many critics of the movie have strong opinions as to why this movie didn't live up to expectations. We speak to film critic Stephen Whitty for more on this. Whitty writes movie reviews for platforms including the Film Journal International and the New York Daily News.

Robin Williams was one of the most loved entertainers of his time. HIs adrenaline filled performances both on stage and on screen have received wide critical acclaim. Despite being in the public eye, the Clown Prince of Hollywood unexpectedly took his life in 2014 and filmmaker Marina Zenovich hopes that 'Come Inside My Mind' will help audiences understand the man behind the smoke screen and champion Williams and his legacy.

Comic-Con has just wrapped up its 2018 edition in San Diego this past weekend and Showase takes a look at some of the highlights from the jam-packed convention. San Diego has attracted pop culture fans from around the globe, celebrating their favourite comic books, movies, video games and TV-shows, since 1970.

The world famous event has also served as a platform for major movie studios and television networks to showcase their latest products. This year's edition of the sensational event featured previews for some of the most eagerly awaited productions for the year ahead of us. We speak to Brittany Williams for an overview on the weekend and some of the countless panels and screenings that took place at this year's event. Williams is a staff writer at Black Nerd Problems.

Alexander McQueen used fashion to provoke, repulse, inspire and exhilarate, often simultaneously. At the hight of his success, the celebrated British fashion designer took his life in 2010 at the age of 40. Now, eight years after his death, his turbulent story comes to the big screen with a new documentary entitled: 'McQueen'. Showcase takes a sneak peak into what viewers can expect.

Bruce Lee, credited as the first Asian superhero, was much more than an actor, martial arts expert and philosopher. Although introduced to Western audiences as The Green Hornet's sidekick Kato, his personal legend grew and he soon became a cultural icon in his own right. Driven by a philosophy which had its roots in an ancient samurai code of honour, Lee brought a dynamism and depth to action cinema audiences had never seen before. Showcase takes a look back at Lee's more well known cinematic exploits and we speak to Paul Bowman to further analyze the myth of the master martial artist. Bowman has been working to help develop the emergent field of martial arts studies, is a respected Lee scholar and the author of 'Theorizing Bruce Lee: Film-Fantasy-Fighting-Philosophy' among others.

From lightsabers to lazerguns and Batman to Ironman, comic conventions featuring the best in cosplay have been growing in size and scope over the last decade. The biggest is San Diego's Comic Con which is attended by more than 130-thousand people each year. To talk about what to expect at this year's event, we speak to Jon-Carlos Evans. Evans is a filmmaker, musician and staff writer at Black Nerd Problems.

Selling 65 million copies worldwide and translated into more than thirty languages, 'The Catcher in The Rye' is considered one of the cornerstones of modern American literature. But despite its popularity, the book's content and language have often been criticised for setting a bad example for young people and allegations against author JD Salinger have never ceased to haunt his legacy.
