Tus Años Cuentan

Rozległy kompleks pałacowy położony w sercu Wiednia był do 1918 roku politycznym centrum monarchii naddunajskiej, a dziś pełni tę samą funkcję w demokratycznej Austrii. Tu, gdzie niegdyś cesarz Józef II naszkicował swój rewolucyjny program reform, gdzie obradował kongres wiedeński, a cesarz Franciszek Józef przyjmował poddanych na audiencjach, urzęduje obecnie prezydent austriackiej republiki. W skład apartamentów należących ongiś do cesarza Franciszka Józefa i jego małżonki Sisi wchodzi 19 pomieszczeń: gabinety, salony i pokoje audiencyjne, wyposażone w autentyczne eksponaty historyczne.

Time, a serpent, endlessly sheds its skin. On Myths & Samsara, we trace the scales left behind—myths, stories, and forgotten echoes of Sri Lanka and the Indian subcontinent. Samsara is more than a cycle—it is a vast and unyielding landscape where gods wage wars across kalpas, mortals are reborn as monsters, and the same soul drifts through ages, wearing a hundred faces. Through the lens of Buddhist cosmology, we explore ancient tales to set the stage for historical fiction—citing old magic, reborn in new worlds. What you’ll find here:

Deep dives into Buddhist cosmology, samsara, and the six realms of existence

Myths and folklore from the Indian subcontinent and Sri Lanka, retold with reverence and imagination

World-building insights drawn from centuries of spiritual and cultural lore

A glimpse into a fantasy saga spanning ten thousand years, where the dead do not rest and time itself is a labyrinth

Subscribe—and step beyond the edge of memory.

Ireland's Long War

Je me suis pliée en origami, me suis retirée pendant plusieurs mois.

Je me suis pliée en origami, me suis retirée pendant plusieurs mois.

Blackstone, the Magic Detective

Destination Freedom is a treasure trove of rich storytelling that delves deep into the African American experience. Let's explore it further. Richard Durham, the genius behind the show, crafted each episode with a profound sense of purpose. He didn't just want to entertain; he aimed to educate and inspire listeners to reflect on societal issues.

One of the most compelling aspects of the show was how it highlighted both famous and unsung heroes. For instance, episodes featuring figures like Paul Robeson and Sojourner Truth didn't just recount their achievements—they delved into their personal struggles and the systemic challenges they overcame. Durham's writing brought these historical figures to life, making their stories resonate on a deeply human level.

What's also fascinating is how Destination Freedom subtly pushed against the racial barriers of its time. During an era when segregation was rampant and media representation was scarce or stereotypical, the show presented Black characters with depth, intelligence, and complexity. It was revolutionary in challenging the narratives that mainstream media often perpetuated.

The show's influence extends beyond its original run. It set a precedent for future generations of storytellers and activists. The way it fused art with advocacy can be seen in modern mediums like podcasts, spoken word poetry, and socially conscious cinema. Creators today continue to build on that foundation, using storytelling as a catalyst for change.

Have you considered how the themes from Destination Freedom are still relevant today? The quest for equality, representation, and justice remains at the forefront of societal discourse. It's a reminder that while progress has been made, there's still a journey ahead.
