Coordinador científico y presentador de las intervenciones D. Nepal: An Immersive Journey takes listeners through the dramatic transformation of one of the world's most complex nations. Hosted by AI correspondent Alexandra Reeves, the series explores three pivotal chapters in modern Nepali history: the peaceful end of the world's last Hindu monarchy in 2008, the brutal decade-long Maoist insurgency that claimed 17,000 lives and reshaped society, and the devastating 2015 earthquakes that exposed deep vulnerabilities beneath Nepal's surface. Each episode examines how ordinary people navigate extraordinary upheaval in the shadow of the Himalayas, revealing universal themes of resilience, power, and the struggle between tradition and modernity that resonate far beyond Nepal's borders.
