Das Institut für Digitale Ethik an der Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart beschäftigt sich bereits seit seinem Gründungsjahr 2014 intensiv mit den Themen und Fragen im Zusammenhang mit der Digitalisierung und der Digitalen Ethik. Die Ethik sollte dabei aus Sicht des Instituts wie ein Kompass funktionieren und eine Form von Orientierungswissen bieten, anhand dessen alle Interessierten ihr Verhalten und ihre Handlungen selbstständig reflektieren können.  

Der Podcast „Digital & Glücklich“ vom Institut für Digitale Ethik wurde im Rahmen des vom MWK Baden-Württemberg geförderten Forschungsprojektes „Digital Dialog 21“ entwickelt. Die Produktion übernahmen Susanne Kuhnert und Alexander Jacob. Die Idee zu diesem Podcast-Projekt entstand während des Wintersemesters 2020/21 in einem Seminar unter der Leitung von Frau Prof. Dr. Petra Grimm, das sich intensiv dem Thema der Tugendethik im Zusammenhang mit der Digitalisierung widmete. 

Das Konzept der Tugendethik geht auf den griechischen Philosophen Aristoteles zurück. Brauchen wir auch im digitalen Zeitalter Tugenden? Was sind eigentlich Tugenden? Und welche Tugenden befähigen uns, den digitalen Alltag so zu gestalten, dass wir ein gutes, glückliches Leben erreichen können?  

Der Podcast „Digital & Glücklich“ möchte allen Hörer:innen das Konzept der Tugenden und deren Bedeutung im Rahmen der Digitalisierung zugänglich machen. Er lädt alle Hörer:innen ein, den Gesprächen der Expert:innen des Instituts für Digitale Ethik und den Studierenden der Hochschule der Medien mit dem Moderator Alexander Jacob zu folgen. Welche Tugenden stehen im Mittelpunkt des Podcasts? Es sind: Mut, Gerechtigkeit, Ehrlichkeit, Reflexionsfähigkeit, Mäßigung, Toleranz und Menschlichkeit.

Jeden Donnerstag eine neue Folge.
