今回はチップの話。まさか日本人がここまでチップを払わない人種だと思われているなんて。衝撃的です。どこの国に行っても日本人は礼儀正しいと言われていますがそのうち日本人はチップを払わない無礼な人種と思われ始めてもおかしくないのが現状です。ツイッターで頂いた質問など。

This is the topic I have been wanting to talk about. In Japan, we do not have a tipping culture, but the quality of our service is one the best in the world. It was surprising to me when I found out that a lot of Japanese tourists do not tip in Canada! Aren't we the politest people on the earth?! lol Jokes aside, it is very disappointing to find out this fact and I want to talk about the tipping culture in North America in Japanese.

バンクーバーの冬をなめて風邪を引きました。ちょっとした良い話があった件。バンクーバーで人種差別はあるのか無いのか。 結果から話すと私は人種差別にあったことがあります。というか正直今でもバンクーバーから離れてアジア人がマイノリティーの地域に行くと少し怖いと思ってしまうのが現状です。バンクーバーはアジア系が多いのですごく住みやすく心地がいいです。やはり 同じ人種のほうが人間は落ち着くのですかね。

In this episode, I am talking about discrimination in Vancouver. I see a lot of Japanese people who say that they have never experienced racism in Vancouver and I WAS one of them. I truly love Vancouver and Canada as a country, but I must say that racial discrimination does exist here as well.

改めて日本はすごい国だなと思います。イランとアメリカのことなどなど。アメリカとイランのいざこざが仕組まれているのではないかと勝手に思っているかなこです。トランプならやりかねない、というか世界に起こる半分以上のことは仕組まれてる気がします。皆さんはどう思いますか？

I realized how great a country Japan is. Iran and America's problem scares me as it could become a world problem.

今回はTwitterで過去に貰ったいい質問をいくつかピックアップして答えてみました。 ツイッターですごく良い質問をいろいろいただくんですよね。現地就職、留学からカナダでの生活のことなどなど。留学を考えている人で良い質問をくれるとこちらもすごくやる気が出ます。質問が溜まったらこんなふうに質問に答えるだけの回もあってもいいかなぁと思っています。

第一回目の今回は2019年のヒット件数が結構多かった記事であるカナダで公認会計士になる方法を語っていこうと思います。

カナダの公認会計士になるにはカナダの公認会計士協会の学校に入って指定のプログラムを終了し、テストを合格しなければならないのですが、その入学条件がなんと学資保持者と一定数の指定教科の履修。しかも学士はどこの国でもおkだそうです。なので日本の大学を卒業しているのであれば目指せる資格です。何より日本の大学を卒業したことが無駄にならないのはすごくいいですよね。

It was surprising to me that CPA acknowledges the bachelor's degree from outside of Canada.  In order to become a CPA in Canada, you need to have a bachelor's degree (in any study), some required courses and you will be allowed to enter the CPA program. This means a lot to people who are from elsewhere, they essentially have the same chance as Canadians.  I really love this system where they are trying not to ignore people's work from before.
