Today's guest could not envision herself continuing to live and work full-time in Belgium. Instead, she's crafted a life in Cusco, Peru involving no less than 6 part-time hustles.
The most lucrative one for Maya Lombarts is her role as a virtual assistant (VA). It's her #1 because in addition to excelling at it, she doubled down on an often overlooked, but potential goldmine of a source for clients.
In this episode, Maya shares tips and tricks for challenging your assumptions of what you can and should charge clients, who to ask for advice, how to explore the potential business opportunities in your areas of passion, and of course, ways to get paid more as a VA.
She might even inspire you to ask yourself, are you living exactly where you want to live?

This is a tried-and-true side hustle!
Get up early. Walk around the outside of commercial buildings picking up trash before your day job. Get paid.
What started out as a side hustle for today's guest, Brian Winch has grown to a mature business with gross earnings consistently over $600,000 per year. He still gets up early to walk around buildings and pick up litter, but he scaled the business by picking up more contracts and employing subcontractors.
There are so many things I love about this business; it's very low cost entry point ($100 for tools), ability to get paid for going for a walk ($30-$50/hr), the simplicity of the business model, and if you choose to, it's totally scalable!
When Brian isn't out picking up litter, he's at HQ (a room in his home) from where he runs the business and teaches others to set up and thrive in their own lot cleaning business.
