Silvia Moreno-Garcia's new novel has been called “a terrifying twist on classic gothic horror” and “darkly brilliant and captivating.” Set in the 1950s, "Mexican Gothic" tells the story of Noemí Taboada’s efforts to save her cousin from her husband and his family in their isolated mansion in the Mexican countryside.
