From the moment Peter Ford broke the news to us of Bert Newton's passing, we threw out the running sheet and opened the lines.  Thanks to all of you who called, texted, or just listened.  

Thanks so much to Peter Ford, Philip Brady, Pete Smith, John Foreman, Kamahl, Steve Murphy and Derryn Hinch.  All good friends of Bert who, despite the shock at hearing the news, took the time to share a memory and pay tribute to one of the absolute giants of the entertainment business.

Our hearts go out to Patti, Lauren and Matthew. Lauren's husband Matt, and Bert and Patti's grandchildren Sam, Eva, Lola, Monty, Perla and Alby.
