The Ending Makes It Worth The Read

This box set took longer for me to get into, unlike the first box set His Wicked Games. It was so boring in the beginning that it took me a week to get through this set instead of a few days like the other set, but I stuck with it hoping the ending would make up for the lack of intrigue in the beginning. So glad I did. There aren't many times when an author can surprise me or make my jaw fall to the floor. I am usually able to figure out the events or plot twists before they even happen but this author shocked me not once but twice! I loved the ending and can't wait to read Their Wicked Wedding!

OMG!!!

I was hooked from the first series and was completely enthralled by this one..love how everything ties together and by the end i wanted to jump up and down happily for enjoying this wild ride...going searching for more ....

Wow that was very good

This book was awesome. Correction, the series was great. I love the fact that these characters throughout these books can still love each other despite their obstacles. This definitely shows us all that love can overcome anything.

Good Contemporary Romance

I enjoyed this story. It was my first book from this author. There were some really sad moments and some sweet moments. There were secrets being kept that made things more complicated.

Narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life. I'll be reading her next book in this series.

Part 2

I got this book via audiobook boom. This is a continuation of the Porter family story. Specifically the oldest son Ryan's story. There are three brothers so expect at least two more books. Hopefully with a different narrator. She made the story drag for me. Perhaps she was just learning this author's style. I did not like Ryan's anger at Tyra when she revealed her job. After all, he was still in a relationship with his New York girlfriend. But as the story progressed he became a better character. This can be read as a stand alone but is better when you read the first book and perhaps the end of the full story will be revealed in the next two. This is the type of story that needs to come as a box set so you can get the full impact.

True Love

Would you consider the audio edition of Coming Home to be better than the print version?

The audio edition is always better than the print version because the narrator actually acts out each character.

I liked that "Mother knows best".

killer cliffhanger

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. What do you get when you have a beautiful rancher, a sexy cowboy ranch foreman and a rough around the edges vet...a hot mess of the heart.

There is true trouble at the ranch in more ways than one. Between all the chaos, it is a wonder how anyone has time for romance..but there it is sneaking its way into the story. I personally am fond of the ranch forman...but since the author left a doozie of a cliff-hanger I am not sure what the HEA is going to be.

The narrator did well but often was over sultry when it was not necessary. Each character had their own personality which was a bit difficult with all the men in this book.

Hurry up and get me the next one so I can find out what happens next.

Spicey Hot Quick Read!

Every time I read one of your "One Night Stand" books I feel like I need the next one right now! Keep them coming!

Straightforward, Honest, Romantic.

Laney agreed to pretend to be her sister for one night, not knowing how the date would go. Wow, she was definitely in for something exciting.

I'm usually not into island men, but hey, Kanoa sounded really hot. He had a lot of tattoos and each of them had a story. I loved his explanation for his tattoos, but what I enjoyed most was the fact that Laney was interested in each of them.

The chemistry between the two characters were apparent from the beginning, and I loved that they didn't beat around the bush. Straight to the point and honest. I really enjoyed their conversations.

As for the sex itself, it wasn't as intense, but I certainly enjoyed reading it. It was like BDSM injected with love. Overall, I can't wait to read more of this author's books! I do love discovering new authors :)

It's a quick and dirty read that'll leave you wanting more of both Landra ...

Landra Graf's "What You Want" is the second tale in the Desperately Seeking Submissive series, but you can read it as a standalone, I did. It's a quick and dirty read that'll leave you wanting more of both Landra Graf and Kanoa! I would love to read more and more about Kanoa, in fact. He's total hotness. I normally don't like books that go so far so quickly, but somehow this one was different and really got to me. Loved their chemistry! I need to read more books with dominant females like now.

Overbearing Parents Try Their Hands at Matchmaking

I really enjoyed this story, I feel like it could have been a little shorter and still had the same effect but I did enjoy getting to know everyone a little better than I would have if it were a shorter book.

Natalie met Evans parents on a recent vacation with her mother and the 3 parents are convinced that Nat and Evan would make a great couple. And it just so happens that Evan is moving to Houston for work and wouldnt Natalie be the perfect person to show him around.

Natalie and Evan are both happy being single and are so focused on their careers that they dont want a relationship. But Evan turns out needing a plus one and doesnt know who to call so he caves and calls Natalie. They agree to meet for coffee first and lets just say their first meeting didnt go as expected.

Their eventual friendship helps turn each of them in to stronger, better people and things seem to go well between them when the parents arent getting in the way too much.

This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone, youll mostly just miss details about some of Natalies closest friends.

I enjoyed Amy Rubinates performance and would listen to another book read by her.

If youre looking for a lighthearted HEA with kind, meddling parents, you will enjoy this book.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Fun, lighthearted, humorous and a very enjoyable story with no cliffhanger and a HEA.

Even though this book is part of a series, each story can be listened to as a stand alone book. The only thing missing would be the backstory's of Natalie's friends.

While not an original plot it was delivered in a well written, really entertaining, interesting and enjoyable story.

Natalie and Evan make a deal to fool their meddling matchmaking parents while they are each secretly falling for each other. Both Natalie and Evan were great characters. Loved the limericks.

Amy Rubinate as always did a fantastic job with the narration. Very pleasant and easy to listen to voice. Great character voices.

Decent Short Story!

Great short listen!

This was a great short listen. Autumn, the second rate granddaughter is brought to a party with her cousin, meeting Eli by accident. Eli is taken with Autumn and plans for his families to have dinner together. Once Autumn is a hit with his father, he comes up with a plan to have Autumn pretend to be his awkward brother, David's girlfriend. Autumn takes the job from Eli because she needs the money. While getting her into the social graces of their stuck up upper class, they fall for each other.

An Enjoyable Cute Cozy

"The Mocha Kiss Cafe" was a fun listen. I liked the Vermont coffee house setting. The story was easy to get into from the start. It wasn't complicated, just relaxing. Anne and Jake's worlds collide when her aunt passes away and she goes to Vermont to attend the funeral where she literally runs into Jake, her aunt's lawyer.

Lara Asmundson's narration was very well performed. She was perfect for this story and had an excellent tone and inflections. An overall enjoyable, quick listen.

A Short and Sweet Romance..

This story was too short and didn't allow the author to neatly tie up all of the little loose ends.

The female lead, Anne Avonlea inherits her great aunt's coffee shop and house.

She runs into of Jake Hunter, he has an insta Love-Hate reaction to Anne, and he quickly proposes marriage.

Lara Asmundson did well narrating the story.

Warm, cozy romance

This short novella is the perfect listen for that warm, fuzzy feeling. Anne attends her Great aunt's funeral and learns that she is sole heir to her estate. Currently living in limbo with no job, she decides to stay in Vermont and reopen her aunt's coffee shop. During all this decision time, she has met Jake. She accidentally ran into his truck, she hit the door in his face...and with all these mishaps, she can't get him off her mind. She finds out he is her coffee shop landlord, and a whole new dimension to their relationship is born. Will their attraction be able to withstand the real estate deal that Jake wants to make with the new hardware store? Will Anne be able to make the coffee shop a success? Give it a listen, you too will love it!

Laura Asmundson is wonderful with her narration.

When I chose this book, I didn't realize it was so short. It ended up confusing me because I couldn't understand why the plot was moving so quickly.

As you can see by the rating, I thought this book was exceptionally written and Yvette had morales that she wasn't willing to compromise.

I would recommend this book to young ladies, teens, who are getting ready to go out into the world so that they can understand and comprehend the meaning of values.

G rated story of a young lady vacationing after being robbed. She becomes attracted to her neighbor & then her boss ( who owns the vacation cabin she is using) pops up saying that he was in love with her. This story seemed rushed and forced. Worth a credit or money?? Flip a coin. Perhaps if the story was longer.

Heartfelt, emotional romance

Arias life is filled with pain and secrets ever since her mother died. She longs for the day she will graduate from high school so she can escape her fathers abuse and have the freedom to play the piano. When she meets her new neighbor Thomas, she feels drawn to him despite her reserve and his insistence that he does not date. The two become closer than Aria expected, which changes the whole course of her life.

This was an incredibly emotional read. I was not too sure what genre the book would be when I first picked this up, but I knew I was interested to see what direction the story took. Well, after completing the book, I know for certain this is a romance. Also, I would not really call this teen either, more like a clean New Adult since the story actually spans a few years and Aria has a lot of independence. Despite the obstacles, and growing up, the heart of this story is love. (Pun intended!)

When I mentioned that this was an emotional story, it is, but dont expect happy emotions because most of the story deals with some very low lows and turmoil. The story was written well and it did have a happen ending (in most peoples opinion I am sure, but not really mine) but I found the book to be a bit of a downer. I was engaged in Arias story, I really felt like I knew her as a person, and I thought the book was interesting, but I cant say that I loved it because I found it to be depressing. Almost every aspect of her life had a secret or issue associated with it. I also had a problem with how depressed she became over a boy, causing it to impact her whole world view negatively. I wanted her to be awesome and strong in spite of him, but that is not what happened. I guess maybe it was one thing too much for her to be able to bounce back from, so I will cut her some slack. But she was so skilled, competent and independent; it was difficult to see her broken.

I had a hard time with her love interest Thomas. From the start of the story he seemed perfect (almost a little too perfect, which makes me think of him as less a person and more an idea). I was leery, but I liked the way he supported Aria when times got tough and helped give her unknown dream shape and substance, enough so that she actually went for it when alone she might not have. But then an event occurred, which was terrible and awful (shocking I know based on my earlier statements) that changed their whole dynamic. I will admit that I enjoyed Devin and who he helped Aria to be. I wanted Thomas to be a distant memory, a time she overcame, but alas my wishes were futile. I personally think that he got off too easy for the damage he caused, but whatever, maybe I just hold grudges (which in fact I do).

I liked the writing style and the that it was a fairly adult romance without the heat to get in the way of an actual plot.
