Publisher's Summary:
After losing both parents within a short time, Rhees really is all alone in the world - time to grow up! The fastest way to do that? Face her worst fears, the ocean topping the list.
Paul has traveled the world, running from his past - a past he's not proud of and refuses to talk about. When he reaches the small Caribbean island on the dive bum circuit, he's found home. He buys one of the local dive shops and finds solace running a top-notch scuba operation, diving by day and by night, allowing the never-ending supply of hovering women to seduce him.
Rhees isn't Paul's type, so why does she drive him so crazy, pressing his already foul temper to its limits? She's the biggest baby he's ever known, scared of her own shadow, and no one can really be that good at heart. He has too much fun goading her to drop the act and stop trying to make everyone believe she's a saint, but each time he breaks down a piece of that reserved facade of hers, he's amazed by how tough she really is.
Note: This book is not the sequel to Jungle. It is not young adult and may be best suited for listeners over 18.

Loving Paul and Rhees
Rhees find herself at a diving school, tucked away on a Caribbean island. Pushing herself out of her comfort zone, after loosing both her parents.
Her relationship with the other island occupants was very sketchy, the girls were instantly threatened by her, the boys all wanted her.
Her first meeting with Paul who happens to be the owner of the Diving school did not go as smoothly as they both wished for, but she soon got on with things.
I really felt for Rhees, she was trying to accept her new normal. Life all alone, and even through she did not succumb to Paul's charms she did surprise just about everybody else.
Paul 'wanted' Rhees and did not stop his promiscuous lifestyle, but he certainly changed throughout their story.
The girls on the Island all had the hots for Paul, which was why they didn't like Rhees. He tried to punish her by giving her the horrible jobs around the school, but she was such a sweet girl, and just got on with it.
He endlessly pursued her, but she wasn't having anything to do with his pursuing. Even if she did secretly enjoy the attention she got from him.
When they became friends, Paul began to change his philandering ways, not that many people noticed, including his long time best friend Taylor.
I liked their closeness, they developed their friendship without all the drama of sex. It made them actually get to know each other.
Their friends around the island still disapprovingly of Rhees did finally began to warm to her, she dealt with some crap situations which developed her friendship with Tracey and Regina.
I hope they can make it; develop their friendship maybe take it to another level.
Paul became very protective of her, and I hope they can see a future together, although the cliff hanger doesn't hint much of a HEA.
Not your typical boy meets girl and live Happy Ever After, it appears they overcame some huge obstacles, but I think they have more to navigate if they are to work it out.
Its quite an addictive story, you are dragged into the book fairly quickly and don't want to not know what happens next.
Headed straight into book 2.
Sexy and exotic
I am an avid diver and a voracious reader so grabbing a hold of this one was a no brainer for me. I love stories that are set in tropical locales and author S.
