No to the narrator. The story was okay.

Apparently, I have to write more of a review in order to post this.

Cleverly disguised bwwm quickie love/drama

A soldier survived military time, has PTSD returns to his small town & his older sister (4 years). The sister has happily taken over the family's business which is a small diner. The soldier is having difficulty fitting back in. The soldier always had difficulty fitting in the town and now that he is missing a leg & lonely, finding a job or purpose is causing him even more problems. The sister tries to support her brother & find a cook for her diner. She finds a mysterious stranger to cook & sparks fly. The sister (boss) "hooks -up" immediately with the new male cook. Quickly having sex with a stranger with no history being discussed about each other's past or medical history. No condom no talk no info. What!!!!!

This story was all sex and no substance. Meet a guy on your first day away at college and have sex with him immediately. Even though you have this big life plan. Then you do something he has asked you not to do which is put your life in danger. Then he tells your Dad he is going to spank you and your Dad says okay as long as you don't tell her Mom. I don't think so. But it is a story that truly asks you to suspend reality way too much.

I was given this in exchange for an honest review via audiobook boom.

This story has a different storyline

It is good but you must like the dom male kind . This story has a storyline that is hard to believe. It has a lot of sex and unbelievable characters.

Quick read to help escape every day

I thoroughly enjoyed this little jaunt from nothing to everything and the journey in between. There is nothing better than becoming a princess, finding (even though it was not logical) your prince and creating a life together through adventures of sexcapades, money and intrigue. I would recommend this for an evening/afternoon of indulgence to get just get lost from the dulldroms of every day life and live and ultimate fantasy. I did receive this book for free for a fair and honest review. The only part that tripped me up were minor words that were used in the incorrect context, but I obviously moved past them to reach the fun ending.

Keeps my attention

I just started reading this book but it seems to be great so far. The story line is attention grabbing as well as keeping. The details are very good which makes it easy for your imagination to see what the author is trying to get across. i am looking forward to the rest of this book as well as more from this author. i received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review.

Oh what an auction

Was not sure if I would enjoy this book, but I did . To be auctioned off and be someone's wife for a year. So much money up front and the rest when .the year was up. And sign papers that protect the purchaser. Good read with some hot sex scenes.

Destiny

A young boy impressed by the kindness of a young girl both having grown up and meeting again by chance or is fate? This is a story of what you can have if you set your mind to it.

Hard working girl finds solution for hard times. . .

Sweet with more depth than I thought in the blurb. If finding love was this easy or simple. Maybe the divorce rate would not be so high in the US.

Modern Day Fairy Tale!

WowWhat a FANTASTIC story! Magic at Work has a very unique plot! It is like a modern day fairy tale; funny, sweet, steamy, and hopelessly romantic. The more I listened, the more I was absolutely captivated.

Some spoilers/teasers:

Lexi has recently went to work for her stepfather; however, her new position is not challenging enough for her skill set, and she feels she is being under utilized. In addition, the head IT guy acts like he has a chip on his shoulders, and she eventually finds herself with free time on her hands. Putting her extra free time to good use, she surfs the internet, and stumbles across a steamy and captivating paranormal romance story.

After a few chapters, she finds herself enthralled with the story, and by the end of her shift, she copies the book to take home to continue reading it. However, later that night when she tries to access the story, and receives an error message. In order for her to finish the story, she will have to read it at work.

Ric knows Lexi acts busy at her desk but is curious to see what she actually does all day, and is shocked to learn, she has been reading a PNR who's characters oddly appear to have a lot in common with Lexi and Ric. When he confronts her, they soon find themselves giving in to their hidden desires for each other, and role playing! These scenes are HOT!

Lexi and Ric go from hostile co-workers to steamy lovers, but Ric wants more; however, Lexi's past prevents her from opening up to Ric. As she reads this mysterious online novel, she learns about herself, her true feelings, and what she wants from their relationship.

This is a magical tale full of humor, steamy sex scenes, true love, and a HEA. I gave it an overall 4.5 stars!

I've listened Hollie Jackson narrate other stories, and as usual she delivers a great performance.

I received a copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Love the cockney accent

This was a cute story, a nice easy listen. Although there was romantic drama, it was nothing too intense (except the sex); basically just a sweet love story with a couple of twists. However, I though that the narration by Hollie Jackson was great and made the story so much more. Her characterization of Rex was great.

Good.

I liked it. But everything moved too fast. The details leading up to the I love you, were sketchy (not enough).

Too cheesy

The storyline had potential but was too short so you didn't care about the characters

Members Reviews:

I don't like this format

Any additional comments?

I purchased this on a Black Friday deal, one, not realizing that this is the first part of a serial and two, not realizing I could get the entire series for less.YEP annoyed. Moving one. I already purchased the entire series because now I am curious what happens next even though I am pretty sure I know.

The Story of Jessica and Nathan so far is pretty hot and to my utter delight has a lot of depth. Jessica is a character that I feel could be one of my friends or even me at that age. Ah to be 23 again. LOL. Nathan is a DOG, but I have to keep going with the series to learn what happens and see if he redeems himself. It a tossup at this point.

So far PULSE part one gets 3 Boundless stars and mainly because I think the serial format sucks and it is a crappy way to bilk extra money for less....Sara

Heartwarming Romance Story of a Teen Mom

I so enjoyed listening to this audiobook! The narrator did an awesome job and brought the story to life. The story was engaging and I could not put it down!

I can only imagine how hard it was for Hailey to be going to High School, working, and taking care of a baby. Starting over in a new school and trying to keep her son a secret turned out to be harder than she expected. Her mom is so awesome helping her take care of her son Brady.

Luke sounded like a player at first but he seemed to grow out of it as the story develops. He really fell for Hailey and wanted something special with her. For once he decided to put his heart out there but unfortunately not everything is as it seems. Can he get passed the lies?

I loved this story and I'm looking forward to reading/listening so some more books from this talented author. The story is written in a dual POV which I really like.

This audiobook was provided free of charge in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion.

3.5 Babytastic Stars

This was a first for me by this author, I am glad I got the chance to listen. I even really enjoyed the narrator in this very believable for the age of the characters.

Its been a while since I listened to a YA novel.

Luke, starting out his senior year in high school, he is pretty popular esp. with the girls. Only he is a little board. Enter in new girl Hailey he kind of sets his sights on her. So he puts himself in her path a lot.

Hailey just wants to have a normal senior year well as normal as it can be with a big secret. She isn't looking for a boyfriend and pretty much avoids all the boys but Luke makes it hard to do that.

I love both Luke and Haileys moms in this book there unwavering support is special not a lot of moms are like that esp. with some of the stuff your dealing with in this book.

Here is where I have an issue with Hailey, she knows what its like to be judged, yet her and her friends judged other girls. I didn't really like that but its High School so you kind of get that. I just thought Hailey was above that esp. from what she has already gone through.

Same with Luke when met with hard choices he says he doesn't want to be his dad yet he kind of did the same thing. Yes I know High School but I just wanted more understanding i guess.

Over all a great read one I would listen to again to be honest.

Ehh. short love story awkward sounding characters

The voice actor for the female characters was strange. The story had NO DIVERSITY of other races. Mainly about one soldier's pursuit of a women he saw and liked. There is a small mystery with the story. Flip a coin on buying this story. It is short, clean rated "g".

Good, way to short.

This was way way to rushed. I would have loved to read this story in a longer more detailed book. The narrator wasn't good either. I also listened to book 2 and again have the same issues. Author please hire Sebastian York as a narrator, and do more in this series just longer stories.
