Hi everyone and welcome to the June edition of Sinfully Mixed Nights. Thanks for tuning in and turning it up.

This month I’ve got 10 tracks that slide us all nicely into the hot summer months, with cuts from Julian Wasserman, Matan Caspi and Jinadu. I’ve also got a nice remix by Simon Doty of Dario Dea’s track, Miserere and Camel Phat’s, Panic Room, featuring Au/Ra, which has gotten some great responses and is begging for remix treatments.

I’ll be playing several gigs this summer, in July, I’ll be in Barrie, Ontario for a charity event known as AboutFace. It is a great cause, dedicated to raising awareness those around us, who either through genetics or circumstance have suffered facial disfigurement. I found a lot of melody in the tracks this month and sometimes mixing melodies take a bit more attention to detail, in trying to get filters, EQ’s and levels just right. I don’t want to spoil the artist’s hard work with melodies and bass lines, but when you get things just right, they sound so sweet.
