    There were many of Roy's peers that held him in high esteem. Elvis Presley, when he was doing a show at the Las Vegas Hilton, and Roy was in the audience, said to the fans that Roy Orbison was the greatest singer in the world.

    Many other celebrities such as k.d. lang, Emmy Lou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Bono and even the Beatles and the Rolling Stones had high praise for Roy.

    Roy Orbison and his family were poor and during his early childhood they lived in a run-down shack. His parents were good people and always stressed the importance of helping each other out during those tough times.

    Roy always knew he wanted to be a singer. His father gave him his first guitar when Roy was seven years of age. At nine years of age he entered a talent contest sponsored by a local radio station. They were so impressed that they asked him to come by each Saturday and sing a couple of songs on the air.

    In this podcast you will hear about Claudette, his first wife and how her feelings for Roy began to develop when she was young and dating him.

    You'll also hear about his hobbies and as he got successful, the expensive car collection that he had. And how could anyone forget Sam Phillips and his "Sun Records" and the early Rock n' Rollers that started out there such as Elvis and Jerry Lee.

    Kacey Musgraves is a country singer and songwriter and was born in Golden, Texas and she is now 27 years of age.

    As we look at her early years, we begin to see that destiny was shining on her and that she would become a unique artist with a lot to offer.

    She began songwriting at eight years of age. In 2012 things started to happen for the better as Kacey joined with Lady Antebellum on their Own the Night tour in the United Kingdom. It was at this time that she released her solo debut single "Merry Go Round".

    Her album Same Trailer Different Park was released in 2013 and is one of those albums that fans enjoy because it had a lot of hit songs on it.

    When it comes to a song that you just can't get out of your head, the song titled "Biscuits" from her 2015 album Pageant Material is stuck in my brain. Its catchy lyrics just latch onto you with its creative lyric, music and dancing.

    Bruno Mars is an artist that just seems to get better and better as the years go by. Some of his great hits from the past are co-writing "Get Sexy" by the Sugababes, doing Doo-Wop music with his Doo-Wops and Hooligans album. Also are hits like "Grenade" and a Grammy for "Just the Way You Are".

    He has now teamed up with Mark Ronson to do a Funk song titled "Uptown Funk". And in this venture we see their creative brilliance.

    I would encourage you to view and listen to their video for the song. It is one of the finest music videos that I have ever seen.

    You will see girls and guys dancing, the musicians in the band wailing away on their instruments. Bruno's dancing and singing are awesome.

    They have taken Funk to a new level and the video shows it all.

    There are several things that impress me about Ed Sheeran. To date he has had 720 million hits on his YouTube videos. But there is so much more to this artist.

    One of the things is that he is a hard worker. He has said that he tries to work as hard as he can to make good music and maintain a good work ethic.

    In this audio broadcast you will hear about his honesty as shown in various interviews that he has given. In one interview he was asked about his contribution to the editing of a video that he made for the song "Photograph" from his Multiply album. And his reply was 'nothing, not a thing' but did say his father handles a lot of that end of a video.
