Are you currently trying to get over a guy? I believe I know exactly where you are... let me guess you're overthinking what happened. Judging yourself for what you did for him even though you saw red flags. Wishing you would have done something different and you wish you never met him or left at the first red flag. Am I right?
I know you want to just totally forget what you went through, now I can't promise you I can make you forget him but I bet I can help you move on better than what you're doing now. Which is what we talk about in this episode and I even share a little of how I got over my abusive ex.

Is staying after he cheats more Christian-like? Is cheating part of marriage?
There are people out here throughly enjoying marriage, don't get it twisted. And Lanaya Ramsey is one of them.... married for 18+ years.
What we discuss on this episode…
The book that was mentioned: Leah Onuoha, a wife of over 10 years, mother, and minister wrote "10 Marriage Lessons in 10 Years" as an eye-opening view on a Christian marriage. Leah Onuoha has been married to her husband, Tobe Onuoha, for over 10 years. You can buy it here.

What do the affirmations on my pillow mean to the women on my panel? You? Why did I add a scripture on the back?
Cameo we'll discuss your comment; People think you can't have an unsuccessful single life, like you can have an unsuccessful marriage.
Carla we'll discuss your comment; single is so loud
Deseree we'll discuss your comment; imagine a world where women raise their standards, which in-turn will raise up a whole society.
Adreeahna we'll discuss your comment; Younger me learned about relationships, dating, marriage via watching family/friends, movies, and tv shows.
Tatiahna we'll discuss your comment; being single can be a blessing if you have the right perspective.
We’ll also discuss
How do you feel about this comment;
“You literally don’t have to lie to women. If she like you enough she will lie to herself.”
And also how will you know a man loves you?
'We don’t realize just because he says “I love you” doesn’t mean he actually does.'

This is a conversation I had with Anthony of Anthony does a podcast and my best friend Deseree (his girl).
I know this is a questions you have had so we discuss from the lens of 3 people who are doing great work within themselves. We also discuss the quote "I'd rather be alone than with people who make me feel alone."
The question I pose to you.... how miserable are you willing to be just to be in a relationship?
Plus at the end I address the topic... after he cheats do you have to stay? Is it biblical to stay?

What exactly is Narcissism? What are the traits?
Well I remember a time that I got rid of a Michael Kors purse and some Jordans because the abusive ex wanted me to 'prove my love' for him. Narcissist? How he made me feel bad about having my parents and growing up in a two parent household. Narcissist? Let's talk.... with a therapist, Nicole Morris who has a Masters in Social work (MSW) and she's been in the field for 13 years. This is a conversation I had with her at the end of 2019. I was a baby-baby coach, I can see how much I've grown, even in how I explain things from then to now. However this episode has the definition of narcism, stories of what I did for my abusive ex and more, that you can learn from. Oh and after today, I'm going back to dropping episodes just on Thursdays.

I intend to help you see that you have authority over your life. No one gives us a manual when we are born. No one gives us a book of instructions for our birthday. Which is weird because don't you have an instruction manual for your TV, your car, and everything else that you do not know how to use at first.
We're born, for the first time and we're just expected to be great at being human. We're given a name and expected to know how to operate as such.
How are we supposed to know how to operate? How are we supposed to know how our mind works? How are we supposed to know how our body works?
We do learn from others but the problem is most of us are learning from others that never took the time to learn themselves. For the most part they probably never knew you could learn "yourself", so, it's not their fault.
Psychology 101 should be taught to us. We should have mandatory 'learn-how-to-be-a-human' classes starting at age 2. Like drivers-ed but human-ed. I'm not an expert at anything but I did start getting curious about life… my life. Which lead me to ask questions like:
Why do we do the things we do? Why do we NOT do the things we want to do? That researching is paying off for me and I thought: what if I could help other women create their manual for their life?

Stacy Paetz… International Television & Podcast Host, Sideline Reporter, Author, Documentary Film Maker, Women's Sports Apparel Designer
She writes....
“Girl...I've had 3 serious relationships in my life and the last one ended in 2010. I thought he was the one and he left me and I still don't know why. I've been abstinent for over 6 years and before I'd met him in 2008, I had been abstinent for 12 years. I have little dating experience overall and I know what I want and deserve and won't settle.”

What is love? Cause girl him saying ‘I love you’ doesn’t mean he actually does. While I do believe Harry and Meghan are a perfect example of being a team... ‘You two against the world — not against each other'... this episode is less about them and more about what the Bible/God defines as love.
'They' say relationships are hard... Yea this Meghan and Harry is an example of the hard. Not him disrespecting you over and over. Love does NOT = how much you can endure to keep a man in hopes he will change for you.
Scripture I mentioned; Ephesians 5:25 | John 3:16 | 1 John 4:7-21 | 1 John 4:18 | Ephesians 5:25 | 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 | Proverbs 4:23

What would you do if you dated a guy for a few years. He promised marriage and when you're about to move to be with him... he disappears for 10 months. Then comes back talking about “how are you?” on snapchat.
👉🏽 That’s Adreeahna’s story and she shares it on this episode of Single You the Podcast. Yep he came back but how she handled ‘closure’ and the red flags she passed up. You can learn from her story. Happy listening and I hope you have your notebook.
