Bryce Hoppel, an Olympic Hopeful, is fresh off his 1:44 indoor 800m performance, placing him #2 all time for Americans. With breakthroughs announcers ask, "What are you going to do next?" Some athletes say Disneyland, some athletes say buy a house. What does Bryce Hoppel say? "I'm going to the Sit and Kick Podcast!"
Your boys are back for the first guest episode of season 4. Bryce brought the Banter, Josh brought the challenging jabs and David brought the snacks. This episode has a wide variety of moods from roasts on your hosts to Dave deep diving into what the natural transition of confidence can be. The highs and the lows.
Josh invents a new game on the podcast where the guest must give the first word that comes to mind for a pro running group, the word MUST be non athletic related. Although this game wasn't in the #BanterBowl, it was surely banter. One response Bryce gave was "Thats a pro team?" find out who that team!

Your hosts Sit and Kick it with one of the most relevant names in NCAA Track and Field. Teare, a 4th year at Oregon, recently ran 5000m in 13:18 at "The Track Meet". That time automatically qualified him for the Olympic Trials. Off the track, your hosts turn Cooper Teare into Blooper Teare. They dug for all the funny, weird and somewhat appropriate past.
Collegiate eligibility, agents, professional teams and his future plans started the podcast off hot. It then got hotter when Cooper survived the Banter Bowl. Banter that ranged from Dave and Busters to NCAA Final Clusters. A Pre SZN episode that will ultimately get you hyped for Season IV.

As always this episode is a laugh, this time, it's courtesy of Luke Mathews; an Australian Olympian and Common Wealth Games Medalist. Mathews is a Under Armour Athlete and currently prepping for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Your hosts ask the tough borderline, occasionally questionable questions that make the #banterbowl and every episode unique.
This episode has its fair share of seriousness that cover topics from The Olympic Games to NDAs and contracts within the professional track and field circuit. The Sit and Kick podcast wouldn't be the same woutout a few laughs that happen frequently. These mates are acquaintances and competitors alike.

Did your question make the cut? Of course it did. Your hosts didn't exclude any. Even the crazy ones, the ones with a little more audacity were given a slot in the episode
Josh and David take a step back from the regular scheduled program and instead dive deep into real conversations with each other. USADA/whereabouts, race mentality, advice for younger athletes and more are discussed in this episode. The entire episode was driven by the submission of the Sit and Kick community with the questions YOU submitted. In a unique episode, be apart of the conversation and listen for your question being answered. Like what you hear? lets do this again!
BanterBowl:
"You are only given a baseball bat, 10 year kids in bicycle helmets swarm you, how many can you take out before you are overran?"
"Josh how did it feel to lead a race at the Big Friendly?"
"Runner who talks the most crap?"
