In September of 2008, 17-year-old Brittani Marcell was brutally attacked in her own home. Her mother came home to find a man standing over Brittani holding a shovel and her daughter was horribly beaten. The man initially got away, but thanks to a determined detective and a very brave Brittani, her attacker would finally be brought to justice.

24-year-old Chelsea Poorman went missing after a night out with her sister. Twenty months later, her decomposing body would be found lying on the back porch of an abandoned mansion. Despite having four missing fingers, police deemed her death "not suspicious".

Erin kicks things off with the story of Diane Augut, a woman with mental health issues who wandered away one day and vanished. Over the course of a few weeks, Diane's belongings would turn up in random places, and a middle finger was also found. Fingerprints would later confirm that the finger belonged to Diane, but no one knows where she is.

O'Dell then shares our first paranormal story of season three. After discussing a few spirits that allegedly haunt Camp Comfort in Ventura, CA, he tells the legend of the Char Man - a man who allegedly survived a horrible fire and then went mad. He is said to stalk a specific bridge in the area.

Erin shares a WTF story about an elephant out for revenge, and then we close things out with a few "would you rather" scenarios.

In 2015, Denise Huskins and her boyfriend, Aaron Quinn were awoken by voices in their bedroom. The couple would be drugged, and Denise kidnapped. The kidnappers left Aaron several tasks that he needed to complete before Denise would be released. When he went to the police, they didn't believe him, and when Denise was finally released by her captors, the police accused them of making it all up.

After the case, Erin reads a listener write-in and O'Dell shares some information on the Alexis Patterson case that he found on Medium. We close out with the speech Erin would give if she ever won an award.

We're almost at the end of our virtual true crime road trip. This week O'Dell revisits Washington state, while Erin sticks around Canada for a bit.

O'Dell kicks things off with the strange disappearance of Deanne Hastings - a single mother with a history of mental illness who disappeared one night after running to the store. A series of near misses, and missed opportunities only ads to the frustration felt by her friends and family.

Erin then dives into the craziness that is the Quebec Biker Wars that happened mostly in Quebec in the 1990s. She started out looking into the death of one man which opened a can of worms she wasn't expecting. There was so much to this case, that it will be a two-parter!

This week we close out our virtual road trip stops in Canada, visiting Saskatchewan and the Yukon Territory.

After a couple of updates on past cases (Brittanee Drexel and the trial of Steve Pankey), Erin covers the case of Alexandra Wiwcharuk, a young nurse from Saskatoon who was once serenaded by Johnny Cash, Alexandra went out for a walk one day and disappeared. Thirteen days later her body was found in a shallow grave. Her murder is still unsolved.

O'Dell follows up with the unsolved murder of yet another indigenous woman. Angel Carlick was to meet up with friends to celebrate her high school graduation, and then disappeared. Several months later her body was found. Her mother became an activist for MMIWG, and then she, too, wound up murdered.

Erin winds things up with a major WTF story about a gender reveal party turned deadly, and then we close out with a couple of would you rather questions and a shower thought.

After a very random opening about... openings - O'Dell covers the case of Leah Anderson, a young indigenous woman from Manitoba who left to go ice skating with friends and was found two days later, beaten to death on a snowmobile trail.

Erin continues by sharing the case of Amber Tuccaro, another indigenous woman who was kidnapped while hitchhiking. Despite authorities having everything they needed at their fingertips, her body wasn't found for two years.

Both of their murders are still unsolved.
