A few years back I was going to a lot of festivals and having a good one and decided to turn myself into a meme. This is the one of the stories from that time of my life...
I put my face on a shirt with the words Savilian Approves and the lords Yahtzel and LDRU aka Carmada wanted a piece of the action. So I got the shirts printed up and took some down to the show at the Oxford Art Factory back in 2014ish. What ensued was an absolute movie of a night that included all the usual rockstar s**t and boy did I have a good one!
Please enjoy a tale from a time when I was a meme.

Up and down, round and round, 2 steps forward and 1 step back... this is the dance we all refer to as life.
I made it to Episode 25 - feels pretty good I must admit... thank you to everyone who has tuned and shared and commented so far... although there's plenty of emotional swings, I am loving this journey.
Trading has come with its own challenges of late, but I'm here for it. I know that right now I'm training, I am training for life and I know that there are no shortcuts if I want to come out alive (before I die obvs).
Me and my brother rūku are sharing a saying at the moment, one that is aiming to ground us and keep us steady as the waves surround us and the pressure mounts... "what got you here, won't get you there" - it is simple but effective in reminding of us where we've come from and what we must do in order to get where we are going.

Hey gang - thanks for tuning in!
Been a bit of a grind lately...
A beautifully chaotic 2 weeks has just ended with my family returning to Sydney after a super wholesome and necessary visit to Melbourne. I have managed to return to my routines but things are taking some time to get back on track that way that I would like.
Trading is suffering a fair bit at present, I'm digging a big hole and finding it difficult to get my rhythm going. On the side I'm trying to build a business with my brother, which is very exciting and something that I am loving, but is taking up a lot of my time and energy. Music releases have been few and far between over the last 12 months which is probably the thing I am most uncomfortable with.
Despite all of these challenges, I'm trying my hardest to see gratitude in every moment, and continually remind myself that this just a part of my journey. I'm putting in my reps and as David Goggins would say, I'm trying to "callous my mind".

I decided to do something a bit different on the show this week - my family were visiting from Sydney and I thought it would be nice to get my Mum (Pauline) on for a little chat.
My Mum is the eldest of 10 kids and was born and raised in Sydney. She went on to marry my father and now has 5 children of her own. Mum has a wealth of experience and knowledge and is someone that I would call a radical empath, meaning she makes everyone feel very welcome, comfortable and understood.
Mum came through to the office and we sat down and talked about how she was finding Melbourne, as well as digging into different areas of each of our lives. It was a nice, fun and free-flowing conversation that I'm very glad I got to do.
Anyway I hope you all are looking after yourselves out there and are finding success in your own way, if you have any questions or comments be sure to let me know!

Sup Gang! 💪
Really just wanted to give a little insight into the month that was March - I wanted to talk about the roller coaster that I took myself on and some of the insights that I gathered along the way.
The longer I go in this game and in life in general, the more I realise that life is all about the long game, staying committed and in the grind long enough for your wins to catch up with you. Being vigilant enough in the prosperous times to stay ready for the bumps in the road that inevitably come.

Before I start I wanna apologise for being sick and sounding like absolute death, but the show must go on. I would also like to give a shoutout to Melbourne based streetwear label Homie, and another coupla shoutouts to Jack Jenkins and Sam Hibberd from Absolute MMA in Melbourne for becoming the Australian champs in their respective weight classes at Eternal 57 last week.

I think it's safe to say that I'm decent on the comeback, I'm good wit the bounceback, but for once I want to be a good start and not need to comeback etc. Spose that will have to wait until next month though, cos this month it's been all about the bounce back factor aka the Big Sean effect. After some soul searching and some frantic calls to some mentors, I did pull a rabbit out of the hat this week to hopefully prove to myself once and for all that I am a good trader and that I do belong in this game.
Anyway I hope you all are looking after yourselves out there and are finding success in your own way, if you have any questions or comments be sure to let me know!

A few poor weeks of trading lead me to a point where I really needed to face the music and look at where my intent was, and what processes was I cutting corners on. After some re-evaluation and some soul searching I was able to get back on the hors and put together a couple of really professional showings.
This episode is a timely reminder to myself and everyone playing along at home that this journey like most things are fought for in the micro, but won in the macro. Day to day grinding and repetition over a long period of time is what defines success.
I hope you all are looking after yourselves out there and are finding success in your own way, if you have any questions or comments be sure to let me know!

I thought it was about time that I got another guest on the show, and it only made sense to get my little brother, fellow rapper and now business partner rūku on the poddy to basically shoot the shiii and see wassup.
We got a lil wild on this one, covering everything from an incredibly inconvenient situation that took place at IKEA last week that almost made me go full Karen... we break down some of the recent attempted hate I've received in the review section... then turn to a lame man's conversation about my performance in the market of late... the eagerness we possess for the impending footy szn... and his next single as well as potential works for 2021 and beyond.

It's been a crazy week and a half both in and out of the markets, and this episode has a bit of everything.
Firstly a big congrats to the prize winner, dm me on Twitter to claim your book: Joshua Pinn
So I went to Sydney last week to celebrate the life of my buddy guy Thomas, and man was that somethin. It was an incredible event that saw his nearest and dearest talk about what a loving, kind and genuine man he was. It was of course emotional, but I think we all felt a sense of gratitude to have called him our friend/lover/family member. He will always be missed, but no way in hell will he be forgotten.
The markets have been interesting this week, and the juxtaposition between the volatility I spoke about in the previous episode, and the lack of good trade opportunities being presented in the first 3 days of March lead me to a train of thought on some similarities between Hold Em and day trading. They say that you receive a pocket pair roughly 6% of the time in Hold Em, and flop a pair roughly 30% of the time, which means that there is a lot of time playing without a pair and thus largely needing to get creative to win. This is why good players beat average players, they know how to win without a premium hand or perfect conditions.
I believe the same is true for volatility and traders. Most people can make money when volatility is ripe and the market is cooking, but how well do you perform when the market is quiet and conditions are testing. How well can you sit on your hands when it's not there for you, how many poor hands can you fold in order to wait for the right spot.
Thanks for tuning in and I'll catchya next week! 🚀
