I cannot believe I about to share this with the world, but everyone wants to know what happened to the lady I fell for, who pretty much made me realize I was just a lesbian, and gave me the courage to leave a man I genuinely cared for.
I will tell you what happened, no WE will tell you what happened. Here is a raw conversation between me and my ex-girlfriend…Literally a play by play of our relationship and first time sleeping together.
And I am willing to share it with the world because no matter what you do, whether you are a therapist, a doctor, a stay at home mama, a teacher, a business woman, a life coach life like me, or you simply feel you have to “have your shit together” for your world…You need to hear that love and lust is messy…That changing your mind or exploring your sexuality could disappoint people…that leaving a relationship might rock your boat…BUT IT’S ALL WORTH IT. This episode is for you. Straight, gay, in between…for YOU. To inspire you to do whatever you’re scared to do, but can’t fully be alive without.
I want you to know discovering who you are, understanding your preferences, and evolving is safe to do at ANY AGE (even at my ex’s age of 51). You are allowed to shift and change your mind…and THAT is how we both got here…Here in this perfect present moment where all is well and we are GRATEFUL for the journey we had together, even if we are apart. 🚩 I desired the experience over my sense of safety, and I knew it the whole time. My gut never lies to me, she’d never give me her heart, but I kept walking the path. Some could say why would you do that to yourself? How could you as a dating coach?! 😈Listen to the whole episode to understand…I KNEW what I was doing the whole time. But in a nutshell, I sovereignly chose to be emotionally annihilated so that I could experience physical bliss for the very first time.

Ms. California was the catalyst girlfriend God knew I needed. To be honest, the experience of lust motivated me so much, to set myself free, and just be gay. The lust put a fire under my ass to make hard decisions.
🙏🏽I hope this episode proves it’s safe to have hope, to be a fool for love, to leave good for great, to follow your truth, to live authentically if you’re afraid to be queer, and to perceivably “lose” in love. The winner doesn’t take it all. When you experience heartbreak, find the “gift” in the pain, and be grateful for every experience. The contrast is your gift.
