I was talking to one of my new clients recently about a freemium that she is creating which will be a great “getting started” option for her connections who are looking to take a first step before hiring her.
In the process of creating this freemium, she had followed all the advice and instruction I had given her so the content and flow were on point. The value was there. The only problem was.. it just didn’t have the ignition factor that I was looking for. You know, that marketing spark that really makes you want it.
So I told her, your work is awesome and I love how much instruction and value you have packed into this thing.. but you have a problem. I don’t think the prospect that goes through this freemium is going to get to the end and say “THIS is the coach that I have been looking for.”
And of course, she was a bit surprised and asked WHY NOT?!
So I shared with her 3 things that I’m going to share with you today to help you make sure you’re not building a BORING BRAND.
If these 3 things are missing, your core messaging will be bland and unappealing, even if it’s targeted at the right audience.
Kind of like cold oatmeal, with no brown sugar or raisins. Ugh. Or pancakes with no syrup. Or nachos with no cheese.
Nobody wants that!
Here’s the list – let’s make sure you’re not building a boring brand.
Kind of funny isn’t it.
If you’re joining in today, congratulations.. you’re one of us. You’re probably struggling or have struggled with procrastination in some shape or form.
Whether your procrastination is a minor issue that’s simply hurting your productivity or a major issue that’s preventing you from achieving your goals, you’ve probably made some attempts to overcome procrastination on your own, and you’ve probably found that it’s not that easy to do.
You may have possibly even done a Google search for some procrastination advice, but then you saw how much information is actually out there about how to stop procrastinating, and most of it for you was either partially helpful or ineffective entirely.
So I want to take a different approach today, to the topic of procrastination. I want to start by helping you identify what type of procrastinator you actually are. Because we’re definitely not a one-size-fits-all bunch of world-changers and where some tips and advice may prove super helpful for one person, it will be completely ineffective for another.
So let’s start by identifying the 6 different types of procrastinators, and my best tips for each one of them. Then I want to give you a few additional really powerful suggestions that will help anyone overcome procrastination no matter who you are.
Let's dive in!

I didn’t. I tried to do it all myself. And listen, there’s nothing wrong with being a do-it-yourselfer. I think that’s a natural trait of an entrepreneur.
The problem comes when you are a do-it-yourselfer AND. IT. SHOWS.

Say this outloud: Disappoinments happen, and it’s ok when they do.
Now say it again, and this time, actually believe it!
It’s a fact of life Crew — disappointments are simply a part of being a small businesses owner. It doesn’t matter if you are the most successful marketer, creator, or coach on the planet – or if you’re just getting started — disappointments happen to everyone, including me. Even after your business is rolling and growing – disappointments still happen to everyone, including me.
Over the nearly 8 years I’ve been in business I have done dozens of launches, created multiple products and programs, and put my hand and brain to every facet of marketing – and what I’ve learned through all of that is that disappointment does not discriminate. It will literally take the launch or the idea that you poured your heart and soul into — the one that you were certain would be a smashing success — and turn it into a complete flop, leaving you disheartened and totally confused.
I’m sure you’ve been there. I know I've been there. It doesn't even have to be a launch. It could be anything in your business that you put effort into it, and it didn't turn out the way you had hoped, and now you feel defeated, and you feel like a failure.
Or maybe you feel like you’re not cut out to be an entrepreneur. Maybe you feel like you’re not capable or competent enough to build a successful business. Like, maybe this isn't for you?
The question is, how do you move on from those disappointments and make sure that the next one blows it out of the park?
Let's get to it!

Money Mindset blocks. I believe everyone deals with this at some point in the process of building a new business. I certainly did.
Knowing they’re there, and that the issue is mindset, helps a little.
Actually getting down to the meat of them and clearing them from your subconscious, is what’s really necessary. Otherwise, they will continually drain your energy and ability to run your business every time you attempt to close a sale.
Knowing what the most common money blocks are is the first step toward removing them from your mindset. So let’s get them right out here.
These are the top 5 money mindset blocks that I hear people express when trying to tell me “Justin, I can’t charge that much”:
So again, knowing what the blocks are is the first step. Knowing what causes them is the key to erasing them from your mindset and seeing real change in the way you do business. Not to mention the results you will be able to acquire.
Let’s unpack each one of these. Jump in and listen!

I think one of the hardest things to do as entrepreneurs is to maintain a narrow focus amidst all the things that are competing for our time and attention. Do you all agree with that?
What should I be working on? What’s the most important thing? Where do I commit my time? How do I stay motivated? How do I measure it all. All those questions, right?
I remember starting out, I was all over the place. Now I think I can say that a part of that season in my life served me because there was a LOT that I had to learn. There was also a LOT that I had to try and fail to get myself going down the right path. Does that make sense?
Because think about, there has to be seasons of struggle. You have to experience failure. Otherwise, if everything I had given my time and attention to had experienced any level of success, how would I know what things to let go, and which things to narrow in on?
I remember some aspects of my business early on that I thought were going to be the core of my future prosperity, and I was so off base. I really went all in on a lot of things.
What’s funny is that I remember going to a network marketing conference in my first year and had the opportunity to take part in a small group Q&A with a 7-figure earner in the company.
I remember being super eager and excited to tell them ALL THE THINGS that I was doing, and get their feedback about how I could succeed at it all. Their advice was sobering, and I actually wrote it down.
This is a snippet of my notes from that session in 2016 titled “Thoughts from Tracy”
“It sounds like you’re a little all over the place, and not focused on any one thing that will produce results for you. I’d pick a single thing that satisfies your short-term objectives and make a plan to spend an intense 3-6 months on it, and then execute on it a minimum of 3 hours per day (ideally the first 3 hours of the day). Since you need money, it should pay you in the short-term. You’ve got several different skillsets that could get you paid, but you need to commit to one of them for 3-6 months to build a good reputation, get money coming in the door, and gain lessons from that area. Then pick another project after that, once you’ve got some regular income flowing. Too much of everything results in too little of anything, and that’s the #1 reason why startups fail.”
Sobering right!? This was the best advice I could have ever received! It was exactly what I needed to hear and two weeks later was when my mom challenged me to start live streaming. I found my focus point, and for 6 months that was my one thing. And it changed my life.
The bottom line is that I stopped trying to do so many different things at once and I shifted my focus to something that I knew I could develop into a very lucrative skill. I knew it was my best shot and clearest path to creating income, building a tribe and gaining valuable experience along the way.
There’s a great Oprah Winfrey quote that says “You can have it all. Just not all at once.”
So with that in mind, here are 3 of the best tips I can give you to help you narrow your focus and do your single most important thing.

What’s up Crew! Today I want to talk to you about how to find the courage and clarity to ACT on a big idea and step up to your next level.
I was having a conversation recently with one of my entrepreneur friends and we were reminiscing about our startup days. And he asked me the question, “What is one thing that you were scared to death to do; you had no idea how it was going to pan out, but you took the leap anyway?”
We ended up talking for almost 3 hours.
Because the truth is, there are so many examples in my own life and startup journey where I was prompted by the Lord with an idea.. and it was scary.. and it was big.. but I did it anyway.
I did it afraid.
I made moves without all the answers.
And those moves lead to some of the greatest shifts and most significant successes in my entrepreneurial journey.
So today I want to talk to YOU about how to find the courage and the clarity to act on a big idea and to kick this off I want to share with you an awesome passage I found that was written by Elliot D. Cohen, Ph.D. Elliot says:
“Courage is not an extreme. It is neither blind fearlessness nor cowardice. If there is a truck rapidly approaching, it is not courage to fearlessly attempt to cross the road. But if there is no sign of a truck, it is self-defeating to be afraid even if there are no guarantees that a truck will not suddenly appear. Blind fearlessness will get you killed while cowardice will keep you from living. Either way, you won’t get across the proverbial streets of life. Courage involves looking both ways, making a reasonable—albeit never certain—judgment that you can proceed, and then doing so.”
So good right?! So with that, let’s dive into 7 tips to help you find the courage and clarity to act on a big idea, ignite your passion and live a life you love.

It's the ultimate dream: make tons of money from your living room, staying dressed in your pajamas all day, working according to your own schedule, with no one telling you what to do. Sounds perfect, doesn't it?
Maybe you’ve envisioned a beautiful future where you work four hours a week, you never trade time for money, all your income is passive, and you sail through a life of ease because you’ve learned to “work smart” and figured out “the secret formula” to financial freedom.
If that's what you think making a living online is all about, you're in for a rude awakening.
On the other hand, if you're skeptical and think there's no way any normal person (like you) could possibly make a "real" full-time income online, then you're in for a pleasant surprise!
The truth is, the internet is full of misconceptions and misinformation. And being someone who has built multiple very successful online businesses, I'd like to help debunk some of the worst myths that I’ve seen float around. Because making a full-time living online may be far from what you actually think it is.
Along with that though, I do want to give you some truth as well. Because while making money online may not be what you think it is, that may be a good thing!
You may not realize that 5-figure months and 6-figure years working for yourself online may actually be possible for you!
So lets start by busting a few myths about making money online, and then we'll dive into talking about the truths that you need to know!
