President Cyril Ramaphosa appeared before the State Capture Commission representing the ANC. In this video, I give my assessment of the first day of his testimony.

I spoke to researcher and political analyst Tasneem Essop about Cyril Ramaphosa's upcoming testimony at the State Capture Commission, and the impending Local Government Elections.

I caught up with BBC Africa Correspondent, Andrew Harding, to talk about his book These Are Not Gentle People which explores the killing of Simon Jubeba and Samuel Tjixa, who were assaulted by a group of about 40 white farmers in 2016 and later pronounced dead. It is a tale that reveals much about South Africa's tortured past, and its uncertain future.
