OK, we know Avengers Doomsday is over a year away, but… why isn’t Marvel saying ANYTHING about it?

In this episode of the Sneak Peek, Erik Voss and Jessica Clemons take a critical look at Marvel Studios’ marketing strategy — or lack thereof — for a movie they probably need to clear $2 billion dollars in 2026 to be profitable. Despite production being wrapped, studio still won’t allow cast members to talk about it, the directors and studio execs are silent, and we know less about this project than details James Gunn is willing to share about movies that come out long after Doomsday, like Man of Tomorrow and The Batman Part II. Is Marvel’s tradition of secrecy going too far considering Marvel has fewer releases to build momentum toward this crossover event?

Avengers Doomsday Complete Cast Confirmed… we think?

Welcome back to New Rockstars’ Sneak Peek! In this episode, Erik Voss and Jessica Clemons discuss the Avengers Doomsday cast that seems to be locked according to cast and crew gifts showing the casting grid. Is it actually a good thing if Doomsday doesn’t have a ton of extra unnecessary cameos? Or could the Marvel secrecy conspiracy go all the way to the top of the production assistants who hand out the tote bags at the wrap party?

Obviously Robert Downey Jr’s a great actor, but WHY cast the face of Tony Stark as Doctor Doom?

Over a year after Robert Downey Jr was announced as Doctor Doom in Avengers Doomsday, and even after he somewhat appeared in Fantastic Four First Steps, we’re still no where closer to understanding what “New Mask Same Task” means. In this episode of the Sneak Peek, Erik Voss and Zach Huddleston explains why the Russo Brothers and Marvel Studios owe fans more of an explanation behind this casting, and, since Marvel is in a different place now than it was in 2018, they cannot rely on the same restrained marketing approach to build hype for a movie that needs to make 1 billion dollars to break even.
